  • So artillery does not cause mass destruction, good to know.

  • We(USA) fucc up big time diz time

  • Great speech!

  • the whole situation is a joke! If we ever become free in future generations, they will look back on us as the stupidest people to have ever lived! Why do we accept this treatment? Why don't we say no! What are we scared of? The only way i see to stop this system... Stop paying your tax! They're illegal anyway, but stop paying on a moral level... Don't fund war!

  • SCOTT "KNIGHT" RITTER YOU SHALL BE BLESSED ALSO

  • the weapons were there, USA waited two months to clear it all out then moved in and there was none then. all the wmd technology was given to iraq by USA to develop. because if it was made in USA somebody would come out and reveal it.

  • Google "Saddam's WMD:Discovery and Denial" at amazon and see how there was wmd in Iraq!

  • @Bestmanme08 The only WMD found in the aftermarth to the Iraq war were degraded or outdated shells containing outdated chemicals from the Iran-Iraq war which could not be used as weapons because they were too old, face it, there was no Iraqi threat, YOUR GOVERNMENT LIED TO YOU!! If any WMD which actually posed a threat to anyone were found, the president would announce it in a heartbeat to the public, just as he accounced the death of Osama bin Laden, to counter accusations that the US lied

  • @iraqiblaze Go to NYpost.com and type in "US did find Iraq wmd"--even wikileaks confirms these wmd.

  • The only weapons I thought that US military could have found are the weapons sold by the United States to Iraq when the country was fighting Iran. I guess that if one day the US receive a bomb, it might be a bomb sold by the US military industry to a foreign nation. US is its own threat.

  • everyone on planet earth know y u.s bombed iraq. Only american dont know.

  • Bill Clinton confirmed that there were WMDs in Iraq in 2000, 7 months prior to Bush taking office. Bill even said that Saddam should be taken out of power, before his stockpile grows.

  • @USSSANJACINTO

As if President Clinton is any less imperialistic than President Bush.

  • Former Iraqi Air Force General George Sada who was the #2 Advisor to Saddam since 1969, said that Saddam sent all his WMD stockpile via commercial airplanes to Syria during the Syrian flood crisis that happened in June 2002. He sent them under the guise of humanitarian aid to the flood victims. He knew that the inspectors were coming again so he put them in storage in Syria. I would believe someone who was in the inside then american U.N inspector.

  • @USSSANJACINTO

The Iraq Survey Group dismissed that claim.

Also, other defectors confirmed that there were no nuclear wespons program.

  • @AntonBatey Anyone can dismiss a claim, that doesn't mean the claim isn't true. The former general of Saddam saw the stockpile of wmds before they disappeared. You have to remember that he was Saddam's trusted advisor, so he got to see things not many people have. He wrote a book about it. You should check it out. And it wasn't a nuclear weapons program, their nuclear reactor was destroyed in 1981 by the Israelis. All they had were deadly gases which are considered weapons of mass destruction.

  • That’s false, please read General Sada’s book. He heard second hand accounts that such a conspiratorial transaction occurred. Where they at? Why can’t we talk to them? Official U.S. government agencies dismiss Sada’s claim for good reason. Secondly, the Osirak nuclear facility, according to a Harvard research team which investigated the remnants of the plan dismiss Begin’s rationale as “nonsense” and that they were “NOT being used to make a bomb”.

  • @AntonBatey now why in the world would Iraq need nuclear energy? what would they power? LoL THAT'S JUST RETARDED. I THINK I'M GONNA PUT A CHEVY 350 MOTOR ON MY SKATEBOARD!!! LoL

  • @mauicletus

    Are you being serious?

  • @AntonBatey which part?

  • @mauicletus they would be used or electricity, but the only one we had was the Osirak that was muked by Israel

  • @mauicletus

    Uhm...

I really hope you're kidding, and even if you are kidding you sure as hell have a very stupid sense of humour

  • This guy doesn't have an agenda?

What a total hypocrite! Removing Sadaam was not worth a single American life? Removing a genocidal megalomaniac who gassed his OWN people and killed at least tens of thousands of innocent people is not worth a single American life?

This guy doesn't have a conflict of interest? He's deflecting blame for something he was responsible for. GWB had congressional approval to go to war with Iraq based on information this punk gave him!!!

  • @Aezaux

Saddam was a US ally when he was gassing the Kurds. They didn't care then.

GWB and the neo-cons chose to believe what they wanted to with regards to WMD.

  • americans are the number 1 terrorist in the world

  • @adriankim No, American politicians are.

  • I Thought we went to war

    bacause iraq attacked kuwait :-/

  • The PRESIDENT said he knew this, that, and the other because our intelligence agencies along with Russia, France, Germany, Israel, Jordan, and Britain agreed also! Bush admin. NEVER said "Imminent" threat. The reasoning was if action was not taken soon, it might be too difficult or dangerous to act because Saddams Regime would be too far along in his weapons programs because they believed he possessed stockpiles.

  • Many of us, Americans, think that ignorance is a bliss. This has ben our

beatitude in the face of the facts. The facts

have been presented, there's was no wmd in Iraq, but many people have their mind fixed on what they want to believe, in

spite of mounting evidence to the contrary.

No rationalization is too far fetched if someone wishes to believe all those stories to be true.

  • What about the sanctions Security Council placed on Iraq for the allegations of wmd? It was placed by the UN in Manhattan on the Anniversary of the Manhattan Project Anniversary. Resolution 661 was implemented on August 6, 1990. It lasted 13 years and killed 1.5 million Iraqis. Since the 2003 invasion proved that Iraq had no wmd does anyone think to say OOPS and we had sanctions that killed 1.5 million Iraqis as a result of the allegations. Iraq has been victimized by sheer stupidity.

  • Nice excuse.

  • So, you're saying because a man uses hand gestures ona podium, he's hitler-like? You're fucked up man. BUSH has more in common with Hitler than this constitutionalist. Because he makes a few hand gestures, he's Hitler. LMFAO!

  • You're an idiot.

  • Why don't they talk about this Uranium on TV or somewhere else?

  • IRAQI URANIUM NOW IN U.S. LABS

The good news: U.S. troops and scientists have taken a heap of radioactive material out of insecure locations in Iraq... "In a secret operation, the United States last month removed from Iraq nearly two tons of uranium and hundreds of highly radioactive items that could have been used in a so-called dirty bomb,"... airlifted out of the country to an undisclosed DOE laboratory for further analysis...

... tell your brother; I said hi, and asked about Todd...

  • And why is this a secret,ya think it would be important?

  • ... read his book... Scott contraticts himself... not about how do deal with Sadaam... what he was looking for and what he found in Iraq as an Arms Inspector....

sic...The Continuing Storm: Iraq, Poisonous Weapons, and Deterrence by Avigdor Haselkorn ISBN-10: 0300075820

    ISBN-13: 978-0300075823

... and what he said was missing in the Iraqi NBC inventory...

... note: Scott had a 100% "hit" rate for what was hid... ... now, what was "left" , ever "exsisted"? ...

    ... come on ... :-(

  • Ritter was saying this on the Daily Show and other shows before we invaded Iraq.

    No one listened.

  • That was uranium that sat in drums after Israel bombed their reactor. It had been sitting for over 20 years, with the full knowledge of all the weapons inspector teams. The only time it was ever possible for it to fall into dangerous hands was when the U.S. started bombing and the inspectors had to leave it unattended. They then recovered it later and acted like they saved the day. Is this why we went to war? For uranium sitting in drums that was fully under control?

  • @jdcurry073: Thank you for your comment. They were making a big deal about the yellow cake which the UN kniew about the whole time.

  • ...Efforts to locate 68 fuel assemblies of 80% enrichment with a U235 content of 10.97 kgms and 10 assemblies of 36% enrichment with a U235 content of 1.27 kgms...a set of fresh fuel plates for the French Tammuz-2 reactor ... enrichment of 93% and a total U235 content of 372 grams.

Other... enriched material included 35.58 kilograms of U235 which had been irradiated but could not be readily used in weapons production... was enriched to 93% which gave it high strategic value.

  • ...hmmm..

Nuclear capabilities of Iraq: The IAEA plan of action; The original and prime concern of Agency inspection efforts centered on the fate of the highly enriched uranium reactor fuel which was known to be in Iraq. This information was based on twice yearly inspections of facilities at the Al Tuwaitha nuclear research centre... Stocks of fresh unirradiated fuel used for the Soviet IRT 5000 reactor were of vital concern...

  • WMD's in IRAQ? post the source for all these finds.

  • Following is the text of the DOE press statement:

WASHINGTON, DC -- Energy Secretary Spencer Abraham announced today that the Department of Energy (DOE) and the Department of Defense (DOD) have completed a joint operation to secure and remove from Iraq radiological and nuclear materials that could potentially be used in a radiological dispersal device or diverted to support a nuclear weapons program.

  • problems with this 'find'

Has it been conclusively linked to Saddam Hussein by sources independant of US military?(we've been there 6 yrs)

In other words don't expect us to buy this of the shelf like we did in 2002 and calling me a terrorist supporter better not be on your list of answers.

I want the proof we never got before we went in.Until then this is just powel at the UN to me.

OH your list was way longer than that so keep back !

  • OH! ARKIVx1 where is your 'fair and balanced evidence' that ritter was bought off?

  • scott ridder was bough and paid for by saddam.

  • scott ritter bought off?

post the source of this intel.

  • hahaha thats a good one.... can you prove this accusation with any credible information? Even a video of someone reliable will probably be enough to convince me so go ahead....

  • Yeah, it has to be true!! Saddam really loved our country and wanted to liberate our people from slavery.

  • McCain wants to keep our troops in Iraq indefinitely. The UN Chief Inspector here is saying we had no reason to start a war in Iraq. I smell a rotten fish somewhere.

We have an economy crisis yet our country spends billions of dollars on a war the UN Chief Inspector says we had no reason to start a war in Iraq.

Why are our troops really in Iraq?

  • also, british prince harry going to iraq was the biggest publicity hoaq ever!

anyone who believes otherwise is a fool. u really think the royal family thought he could go there and be unnoticed?

they sent him there for the sole purpose of him getting noticed just so that they could bring him back home imediately yet still say, "not only do we send your sons out there to die, we risked sending our own son there to."

its like they are rubbing in our faces that no1 elses son can come home. sick

  • american peoples ignorance was pretty obvious from day 1. they watched their president go to an illegal war let their soldiers die out there and not to mention all the innocent iraqis.

AMERICAN CREATED TERRORISM AND WAR. AND BECAUSE OF AMERICA THE WORLD IS GOING TO HAVE TO PAY FOR THEIR ACTIONS. WHILST BUSH AND BROWN SIT IN THEIR 24 HOUR SECURITY PROTECTED MANSIONS. we are the ones put at risk and it is our fathers/brothers/sons who have been sent to war to die for nothing.

  • One Hell of An Answer

  • hahahahahaha ---- BUSH should be send to HAAG and senteced acordingly ....

  • Well said.

     -A U.S. citizen

  • it doesnt matter who you vote in, even if he's the most decent, and honest man on the planet, if he doesn't carry out the CIA's agenda they get rid of him, just like kennedy

  • Bush was warned before he invaded. Invading Iraq was an abomination then, and it is an abomination now. Bush, Cheney, Rice and Rummy sold Americans a war based on lies of chemical and nuclear weapons; in turn they used chemical weapons (white phosphorous) on the civilians of Iraq. Where do they belong for carrying out their plan stated in "Rebuilding America's Defenses, Strategy, Forces and Resources for a New Century" PNAC --- The Hague!!!!

  • It's time we vote for an honest, freedom loving and law abiding President. Vote Ron Paul for President 2008.

  • Gravel/Paul 2008

    w/Ritter heading the D.O.D.

  • An American telling Americans they are stupid! Love it. Ritter is an intelligent and brave man who did all he could to stop this murderous madness. Add him to list of Americans brave and intelligent enough to speak out.... Philip Agee, John Stockwell, Wilbur Eveland, Ralph McGehee etc
