  • Probably won an Oscar for "Most Epic Film"

  • Omg!!!!!!!! James Franco!!!!!!!

  • They should make a movie where they find out King Kong survives and he meets Caesar and Caesar gives him the ALZ12 or whatever and they take over the East Coast or something...

  • @EpicCinemaxx A smart king kong means the end of civilization as we know it.

  • D'ah, screw it. We know it's an awesome performance. :) What difference does it makes if a bunch of middle-aged jerks with sticks up their asses, who can't even decide whether a mo-cap animated movie is really an animated movie or not (while the rest of the damn world has already decided yes), don't think so? It doesn't affect us. It's just a status thing for them, but honestly, he's already got a reputation with anybody who even remotely knows movies. So I'm a happy camper and I hope he is too.

  • i'd like to see george clooney play a fucking ape. SNUBBED!

  • Check out my ape video. They gonna kill us...

  • so where was the performance capture? thumbs down

  • Uau!A parte da produção é que mais me fascina.O cinema está usando toda a tecnologia a seu favor e tem dado ótimos frutos!

  • This was far better than director Tim Burton version.

  • Buck was a real warrior..

  • How come no one noticed or mentions the SUN god symbolism, I can't find it anywhere online but it's obvious, in the beginning of the movie the first set of monkeys they're 12 monkeys(12 apostles, or 12 houses, 12 signs) then the one smart monkey(female) goes nuts when they try to get her out of the cage, turns out she was pregnant and had a baby but no one knew, hence the SUN of god, the virgin birth, the messiah. This SUN god is taken home and named as Ceasar, who was the first MAN GOD+ SUNGOD

  • DAMN SCIENCE! YOU FUCKING SCARY :O

  • I knew there was an explosion when they're breaking out from the building. Wonder why it wasn't in the theatrical version.

  • Definitely better than the 'Mark Wahlberg' version. I like this movie! I felt sorry for Caesar. But, I'm glad he finally found himself. Love the special effects :D

  • By far one of the best movies I have seen in a very long time. The only problem I have with this movie is the part where Caesar breaks out the apes in the holding facility and suddenly the number of the apes and gorillas doubled even before they broke out the apes in the zoo.

  • No related videos.

  • My favorite line from 2011 was a single word from the mouth of a chimp.

  • @Chucktanium "NOOOOOOOOOOOO" yea that line was intense!

  • @happySmoke123

    I standed up from my chair when I saw that scene xD

  • amazing technology but my eye still prefers the old techniques!

  • sorry cgi makes me mad and this movie is bull shit

  • @4bob40 Actually, I think CGI is a hit or miss. When it's great, it's great. When it's lousy, it's lousy. I don't think there's really a middle ground. I prefer a mixture of CGI and real effects. They seem to work best together.

  • @4bob40 you are bull shit

  • @andyandcarl IKR!!!!

  • What a great freaking movie!

  • the term guerrilla(gorrilla) warfare gets a whole new term when watching this movie!

  • @220phenom True but Avatar pushed it even further.

  • Andy Serkis is suitable for such roles, one of the best actors in the world but you can´t see him in movie because he plays mostly a creature. He deseves an Oscar for his actor skills!

  • @fredmaster34 King Kong..... go watch it and see him as a human..... ;)

  • @fredmaster34 i think it's because he can act as a creature SO well, is what sets him apart, you and i could do human, no problem, we are one, but Andy does a realistic rendition of something NOT human, it's breaking a wall there.

  • Sorry but Andy Serkis shouldn't be getting Oscar consideration for this role. I'm surprised by how much Fox is really pushing this thing.

  • @clutchcityrockets Why not?

  • @BoredomCorner I'm not doubting that he was good in this, but unfortunately there are only five slots for Oscar nominations and there are far too many actors that have given outstanding performances for one of those slots to go to Serkis. Voice acting and motion capture performances shouldn't be eligible. Conventional wisdom makes it pretty obvious he won't get a nomination, I'm just surprised at how much Fox is pushing for it.

  • @clutchcityrockets Because they're trying to break ground. No one knows when the opportunity will come again from an outstanding performance of this "performance-capture" variety. Performance-capture is here to stay, so someone has to get the ball rolling with the Oscars. Voice-acting is not the same. Performance-capture is as much of an acting method as conventional acting. It's both voice and physicality mixed with emotion. Performance-capture is full-on acting.

  • @220phenom yes, but avatar refined what was already there. It made huge advancements. Without those advancements, this film could not be made, that's all they meant.

  • Wow... ive seen hundreds and hundreds of good quality movies. This is among the top 5 from the past 5 years.

  • Best movie ever

  • where is Stalone and Van dame ?

  • People need to stop living in the past. Just saying.

  • I don't care what anyone says.... Caesar is hot.

  • Son of a bitch! Iandy serkis crossed my mind while I was watching the movie today

  • 1968 was so much better!

  • @TheRSKing286 Yeah, but new times, new ways. Nothing will beat the original, but I'm willing to give this one a chance (I haven't seen it yet).

  • @AdmiralJab you'll be amazed. I promise.

  • @leenguini I believe it. :)

  • @AdmiralJab here are my ratings about the 3 movies

    1968 = AMAZING!

    2001 = Very good!

    2011 = Okay...?

    i miss the old movies, with Stallone and Swartznegger ( i have no idea how to spell his last name lol) those were the days :)

  • @TheRSKing286 Yes, they certainly were. I've only seen Planet of the Apes and Beneath the Planet of the Apes. There's a lot of controversy on this new one, so I'll see. :)

  • @TheRSKing286 1968=Gay

    2001=cool

    2011=Rapes all the Planet of The Apes Collection.

    2012= STFU

  • @leenguini that's your choice not mine, IDRC, and what does the 2012 one mean?

  • @TheRSKing286 It means STFU. "IDRC" if you know what it means or not. . Got it?

  • @leenguini am i talking to you nope, and like i told you, you dumb fucking nigger, i was just giving my opinion

  • @TheRSKing286 Lmfao. you mad? Fat lonely fuck :). Don't "just give your opinion" again in my videos again? and if you ever type to me like the way you did last comment, you're finished. Got it fat man? Now do as i said when i replied to your FIRST comment and "STFU".

  • @leenguini your not even the owner of the fucking video you dumb shit, so you can pucker up and kiss my hairy ass, "Fat man" now STFU

  • Comment removed

  • @leenguini dude why you over reacting, come down drama qeen

  • @warmpond ill knock your ass out too.

  • @leenguini then fine by me, its not like your actually going to, i have seen people like you, talk the talk but cant walk the walk

  • @warmpond just shut up and maybe you'll avoid getting socked in the mouth.

  • @leenguini wow, what a looser. you dont scare me. now stop embarrising yourself.

  • @warmpond Maybe you should have a word with your local PD, see what they have to say.

  • @leenguini Are you aware that it's a crime to make threats against people?

  • @BoredomCorner id knock your ass out too bitch

  • @leenguini Why? What did I do to you?

    (and please try to use more sense than when you referred to 1968 as "gay" [which is impossible], and 2012 as "STFU" for no apparent reason)

  • @leenguini BTW this is off-topic but I noticed something on your profile and needed to address it: The Tea Party doesn't support the Constitution -- otherwise they wouldn't be shooting at people who criticize them, or believe in separation of church and state (among other things).

  • @BoredomCorner silence

  • Can't wait for the sequel.

  • andy serkis deserves an oscar for playing caesar

  • How did they capture his face in the part where he is leaning against the glass?. He has no rig on his head.

  • This movie rocks!" You know that line don't you? It really does rock. I've seen this movie more times than I can count!:) I can watch it every day!Don't forget to see it on 'Popcornfreak'.

  • what is "avatar"?

  • Andy Serkis...is a BEAST!!!

  • Everyone who thinks Andy Serkis should get an Oscar, copy and paste this!

    I think he really deserves it. He is 100% commited to his work and he acts from the bottom of his heart. He should win an Oscar because he is chimply the best! ;-)

  • Ceasar needs an Oscar :D

  • please!let Andy get nominated!!!

  • super monkeys dont die i guess...

  • @prodkill actually they can, they just die hard.

  • In addition to the screenplay, the things that make this film are the narration - which comes across as if it's addressing children, the cinematography - which is mostly ambient light with lush shadows and highlights, and the performances of the entire cast all of which are flawless. There are a few shockers and more than a few laughs. It's a solid film that caries you through the spectrum of emotions and remains fresh after subsequent viewings. Enjoy this movie on Popcornfreak

  • @Bigolddragon

    they'd beat you in speech

  • @Bigolddragon apparently, with grammar like your's, i doubt you can win anything

  • He's got the monkeys! Let's see the monkeys!

  • Andy Serkis has more talent behind a CGI skin that those broads with no talent and fake boobs that call themselves actresses.
