  • Impressive, I was looking for real live results if the system. Thanks for sharing!!!

  • Thanks. Then it must be something like Staton's solution: NuVinci_27_tooth_410H_sprocket_and_freewheel_adaptor . Maybe it's not needed both back sprockets to freewheel independently, but common freewheel is ok for them.

    You got very good videos!

  • The NuVinci hub is already free. I had a plate welded on that little part so that I can attach a gear. That's what you're wondering about. That is part of the NuVinci hub as it is. It's the small part that you will put another freewheel on. Remove it !

Two gears can work together, one on top of the other but the welded gear is dependent on the other, regular one. If I pedal, both work together, if the motor works, the pedals don't because it's freewheel.

NuVinci should pay me for this!

  • @tapholov Your System is the bomb,do you plan to market or sell it?

Many would love to see more of this kind of e bike systems on the market.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • What exact parts are used to get two back sprockets side by side? Two separate freewheels? Is there enough room for them? With original threaded part to attach the freewheels or a replacement? When pedalling only, does the motor chain move as well?

I have Nuvinci hub too and need this info before proceeding.

  • Thanks for the data. I could not find it anywhere else.

I was going to use it to speed up instead of slow down (for a wind generator).

Can you spin the wheel and use the NuVinci transmission to spin the motor ?

  • @definitionofis Nevermind. I just need to use a 5x larger sprocket diameter on your motor (my wind blade) and then I will get speed up, instead of slow down.

How much do those hubs cost ?

  • @HostileHST O.K. I guess you're just hostile, right ?

  • ???

  • @tapholov I probably left a comment that was already answered, or just didn't make sense after posting it so I removed it. But thanks for the insult anyways.

  • well it sure looks like it works good. my 36v crystallite won't take off that quick.

  • so how fast does it go with you on the bike?

  • about 47km/h on flat ground with the NuVinci wheel and 51km/h with a normal wheel. The transmission steals quite a bit of power from the motor.

  • Hi there, what controller are you using with this unit? Thanks.

  • Please, where is the gear for variable transmission? inside the motor-assembly ? or is an electronic gear ?

  • their is no "gear" thats the point!

  • Oh sorry : see now the other videos !!!

    Now is all clear !

  • Please, where is the gear for variable transmission? inside the motor-assembly ? or is an electronic gear ?
