Was baseball popular in Taiwan? Do they follow the Japanese or American teams?

And what about nowadays?

Baseball is consider national sport in taiwan, it was brought in by the Japanese back in the day when they were the ruler of the land Taiwan, people generally follow both leagues, there are big fans for Majoy leagues(especially now, cause we have players went to states and make famous) but the style generally is more towards to japanese baseball

we tried, but it's hard to get recognized since we are just a 400Km chicken leg look alike nation which are pressure by china all the time

and also we have professional baseball league since 1990, there has been numbered of international exhibation games between us and USA and Japan also Korea, and we have been competitive on the offcial games like hte Asia cup etc, too bad the first world cup baseball we didn't do so good
