this is wrong. i looked at me xbox 360 arcade and it says i have a xenon. my xbox manufacture date is 2007-09-03. so if this was correct i should have a Falcon which dont. so there is a diffrent order to this. it may go Falcon-Xenon-jasper. or vise versa. this video is not correct.

its weird my power port is a jasper. MY PSU is 203 WATTS. i have taken it apart and i have the new cpu heatsink and i have the gpu heatsink without the copper pipe. is my xbox a jasper or what i have had no problems yet with rrod. my friend has a 2007 with the 175 heatsink and he has the new cpu heatsink and the one with the copper pipe. but is my console a jasper or what its the first one ok thanks plz reply

the wattage is how much power gets shoved into the machine, usually if you have more watts, the machine wont feel the pressure of not having enough. the 360 is just a computer, think power supplies in a comp :P

I can't tell if they ALL are, but I just got an arcade edition for Xmas to replace my old dead one, and I was happy to discover it's a jasper...

150 W power source, plastic plug (with 2 button thingies) going into power slot on console and 12v-12.1 amps marking on back of console.....

So, at least now you know that Jasper's ARE available in the arcade edition model....

I have the 12v 16.5A which is the opus/Falcon board. 175Watt P/S Which I got from Gamestop in spring 2008. It now has been sick from the E-74 error for 3 weeks. Still waiting for the dumb shipping label to send it in.

12.1a is good...don't worry about the power supply if you have a pro system because it seems they use the second gen power supply block...but check the power connections, match them to what you see in this vid...this is probably the best way to check what gen it is

It's a falcon xbox 360 the brick suppose to be 150w and it has to have 256mb built in.Also the 60gb models that were made in late of 2008 like in october,november and december are most likely falcon xbox 360 the jasper xbox's started to come out in 2009 so check that.

Thats exactly what i was saying! when the falcon chipset came out some of those were being shipped with the old 203W xenon/zephyr power brick... this is absolutely no problem at all! and in my opinion it is better to have a higher rated PSU.... especailly if your into console mods :)

the jasper have a intermal memory card, so if you go to memory in the dash, and you found a 256MB memory, it's a jasper at 100%. some jasper (the earlier) have a 175W, normally 150W. more watt on a system which need less, don't hurt the system.

I checked my xbox 360 which I bought Feb 26 2009. I saw the 12.1A on it, I saw the holes on the adapter BUT its written like this OUTPUT DC 175W MAX. I believe the console has a Jasper chip but I have my doubts on my adapter. And I git a 360 Arcade and its manufacturing date was December 31 2008.

Am I assured of a Jasper xbox 360 with this thing?
