Then wrestlers started learning how to deal with submissions and avoid getting caught. Once that happened, the tendency of wrestlers towards being big, strong, athletic dudes meant they could and would just pound away on your head until you went to sleep.

Now not everybody has the package to be all overall great because look at Vitor Belfort and he lacks wrestling look at Anderson Silva who also lacks wrestling and consider the best because he knocks people and tap some people out and Anderson does not have the best jui jitsu i believe

@chloeraider10 Lesnar is pure hype. I jumped on the Brock bandwagon after the Carwin fight but I fell off (just like everybody else) after the Cain fight. Hes 5-2 and he is still the #2 heavyweight which to me is perplexing. I dont even know why hes fighting JDS next for the next title shot. Actually, I take that back, I know exactly why. Brock Lesnar makes money... period. The UFC should start a WWE farm for future fighters so one day there could be hundreds of Brock Lesnars in the UFC.
