Just keep practicing those rudiments. Most important is the double stroke and the single stroke. All rudiments are derive from this 2. Study your grip or discover your grip. Be inspired by this great drummers. Although some of us will never be as great. Just Keep practicing. Pay attention to your weak hand. Yin and Yang. Be Happy.

You might like Zildijian but Sabian are just as good with some of their top notch stuff compared with zildjian's top notch stuff. and how about paiste and meinl can't forget them.
