Azlbrax is not my father. Ha ha ha. I checked, he's 65. Guess what? I'm 57 ... ha ha ha. What a dysfunctional family he has ... by his own words. Sad.But I guess there's bad fathers everywhere. He lives in the USA, I live in Manchester UK. Ha ha ha ha.

@ "Glassman": being my middle-son, you should certainly know, right? And what's YOUR claim-to-fame? Oh yeah: you've got a shitty little glassware business and even though you're in your 40s, you still live with your mommy!
For my 16th birthday, I specifically asked my parents for a copy of the new album just released by Black Oak Arkansas called "High on the Hog" which included this song which had been advertised on TV for several weeks. I like BOA for its own merits and do not compare it to other artists. That is silly and shows that people on on this board simply to stir up controversy.
I didn't mean what I said as a put down by any means. I am still a great admirer. I just wondered if something had happened that I didn't know about. Actually, I read that he broke his back in a car accident, so I guess we are lucky he's still alive!

@SilverTrove There was an auto accident or something. Ant that's what happens to men who don't take care of themselves. Men who don't work out every day turn into Trolls. Diet, exercise, and avoidance of harmful substances.... otherwise, past 40, most men are nothing.

Hey Muskettball.....you are correct! This video should prove beyond a shadow of a doubt David Lee grabbed his inspiration from! Jim Dandy came thru Tupelo, MS in 1986 and did a club that I played at. He brought the house down with his stage antics and killer band that he had with him. I have read in mag interviews with David Lee that he did give Jim Dandy FULL CREDIT for David's image (stage clothes, stage antics, the long blonde hair, etc) Do you recognize the drummer in this video?

Worked a show in 81 with Jim Dandy and Savage during the Shawn Lane years. Never met a more down to earth bunch of guys in my life.

More like the first cross-dresser with lady like movements and effeminate gestures...which begs the question, Do you even know who David Lee Roth is? 1000 x's cooler than this guys best dream.

I have to say I was friends with these boys and was going to an outdoor show with them and stopped for fuel and Jim got out of the van they were in and pumped gas in these same pants. Sword on belt and all. That was a KODAK moment....lol

they were very southern gentlemen the whole bunch, one show I had too much to drink and was going to go back to the hotel for a after show party and Jim had one of his people drive me there so I was safe......Very cool!!

i love how lots of singers packed their pants back then. very sexy back then, now it's kind of silly, but man, i loved this song.

Yup, The Diamond One definitely pinched a LOT of his early vibe from this gentleman.
