The same guys who did the practical effects on Tremors, Tremors 2, Aliens, and Starship Troopers are also doing the practical effects on the new movie. so maybe this movie won't be so bad.
Hey guys! It's Jake Hirsch! I like the videos so I'm subscribed, I'm thinking about uploading some videos soon. And i''m pretty excited about this movie too!
@Guerillaradio13 Well, the atmosphere and the costumes look spot on, and stay completely true to the predecessor. As for the characters, they all look like they'll do decent jobs. I'm just hoping it will rely on some animatronics rather than a whole bunch of pointless CGI. Overall, I am psyched for the release. How about you?
@Jeremobie I think it looks more like recent slasher films... like the Friday the 13th remake, Nightmare on Elm Street remake, etc. I mean, if you compare the original trailer with the newer one, it seems (to me at least) that the styles of the films are different. That, and I'm not crazy about women in it. When they showed the picture of the original team, I didn't notice any females present.
That being said, I'm game to try anything at least once.

@Jeremobie yeah im the same, the set looks good, costumes as you said look rather 80's
but the CGI *sigh* best not be alot of it otherwise ill be pissed lol
ill still go see it the trailer for me was like 8/10
