The news media is putting WAY too much attention to this so called 'Gay Suicide epidemic'. Once again the news is 'making the story'. People kill themselves everyday & if determined to do so, they usually succeed. @g42 Folks used to ask my g'mother why she never judged, or put down other peoples children etc. I still remember her answer. She said none of us knows what our own loved ones will do or be. We have grown 4 generations since then. Though I am not aware of anyone being Gay, as yet, that may still come. But for sure some of us havent been a parent's IDEAL offspring. It's just that the news stations want to increase their ratings by cuddling those "poor souls" and appealing to specific audiences, like in this case, gays. Of course, I protect my heritage and care for Asia. I suspect that you may be Asian American and that is why you don't care for your heritage as much. I was born in India and moved to America when I was 13. India means a lot to me. I would want world understanding about other cultures. Homosexuality is not my interest

Tyler could have reported them, or just accepted himself for who he was and not worry about outside opinions. The thing is, Asian Americans are often attacked for who they are. When I moved to America, in highschool, people made fun of my accent, my clothes, my religion, and just about anything they could, including my math skills.

The news media is putting WAY too much attention to this so called 'Gay Suicide epidemic'. Once again the news is 'making the story'. People kill themselves everyday & if determined to do so, they usually succeed. My best friend in High School (shotgun in mouth) & my Father In law (hung himself w/belt in garage) are two examples in my life. It will always lay heavily on me but it is what it is. Suicide happens so a % of gay people are also partaking. They do need to prevent all bullying duh?
