@The2010SnowDay Yes, it can: the MIDI adaptation basically involved a rank of solenoids to push the keys, positioned and braced so as to play the existing keyboard. Unfortunately, you can't really see the workings of it in the videos: the mechanism itself blocks most of the view of how it works.
I think the most amusing part about this set up is the contrast between an instrument as complex and specialized as a pipe organ being accompanied by jug band style percussion... very entertaining.
can this organ still be played by hand?
