Woodson always does Pass Interference the refs don't see.. you would know that if you watched some NFL com video about him. Just look at the game when the Packers lost to the Redskins last season. He did 3 obvious PIs where just 1 was called. Even the own coaches said it was.. so lol. Still Woodson is good - no doubt!

Nnamdi was a beast with the Raiders but he sucks with Eagles. Its exactly what happend when Revis signed that big contract. He sucked for a few weeks then somehow got back in shape and is having a great year.

Revis has played way more physical and has shut more receivers down so far this year, while Nnamdi has missed easy tackles, he has been scored on twice against the Giants by some unknown receiver, and embarrassed by some Rams receiver. And the left corner is the starter FYI, and that's the side Asante is on if you want to throw him in there. Asomugha is playing on the 2nd corner side. He is over hyped.

What is there to understand? He has been playing corner back for over 10 years including before he was in the NFL. He isn't making a transition from safety to corner or corner to safety so what is there to understand. You have zone and you have man, in zone you have to protect your area of the field and stay disciplined, it's not complicated. And I know he isn't Christ, otherwise there would not be any injuries in the games he's in and he would have 21 interceptions by now. lol
Because they aren't disciplined enough. And this is the NFL, every cornerback knows how to play zone and man, why, because it's their JOB. The only variable that effects their performance is the skill set of the receiver that they are checking. The difference between a great corner is if their talents in coverage and tackling can outshine the receiver talents. Revis proves it in man and zone, Asomugha proves it in man and that's it. Wouldn't you want a player who does it all?

Remember in 2009 when everyone was going nuts over how good Darrelle Revis was playing? He got thrown at 108 times. That's 10 more times than Asomugha has been tested in the last three years combined. Revis gave up 40 receptions in 2009, while Asomugha has allowed 49 catches in the last three years combined.

His owned rate is increasing too much. I agree with you as well about him being better in Oakland. We would think that CB is the easiest posistion to make a transition into a new system. But in Nnamdi's case, I guess not.

Obviously you haven't been watching all the Eagles games nor the Jets games. Revis has played way more physical and has shut more receivers down so far this year, while Nnamdi has missed easy tackles, he has been scored on twice against the Giants by some unknown receiver, and embarrassed by some Rams receiver. And the left corner is the starter FYI, and that's the side Asante is on if you want to throw him in there. Asomugha is playing on the 2nd corner side. He is over hyped.

What is there to understand? He has been playing corner back for over 10 years including before he was in the NFL. He isn't making a transition from safety to corner or corner to safety so what is there to understand. You have zone and you have man, in zone you have to protect your area of the field and stay disciplined, it's not complicated. And I know he isn't Christ, otherwise there would not be any injuries in the games he's in and he would have 21 interceptions by now. lol

Because they aren't disciplined enough. And this is the NFL, every cornerback knows how to play zone and man, why, because it's their JOB. The only variable that effects their performance is the skill set of the receiver that they are checking. The difference between a great corner is if their talents in coverage and tackling can outshine the receiver talents. Revis proves it in man and zone, Asomugha proves it in man and that's it. Wouldn't you want a player who does it all?

@eighnasa look at it like this take Revis off the Jets (a team that knows him and he knows their D) and put him on the Eagles who have arguably the worst Saftey core in the league, running zone, and have an inexperienced DCoordinator, Revis wouldnt be the "revis island" his first three starts either not just cuz he isnt good at it but because he has inexperienced people backing him and calling plays for him

I'll accept that scenario even though I hate doing what ifs in debates like this, but wasn't Asomugha playing with bad safeties in Oakland? I just expect better things from Asomugha, he is a very smart person from what I've heard. So i just hope he picks it up soon because things aren't looking too good for them. If he can play lights out defense by week 10 like you said, then I will be back on this video with more positive comments if I remember.

That's Moss and Ginn though, Moss is a hall of famer and Ginn is fast as hell. And I'm pretty sure he has won more battles against them than they have against him. What about all the tackles Nnamdi missed in the Falcons and Giants game? I just prefrer Revis because he is more of a playmaker than Asomugha. I'm hoping he can have an impact on the Eagles like Revis has on the jets. If he can do that, then I'll be silenced.

@eighnasa Oakland had bad everything on defense but for some reason they ran alot of bump and run (maybe thats why they always lost lol) and let Nnamdi be alone with the best WR so he didnt have to worry much about up top help because in man coverage the safety is exactly what its name is a "safety net" and your right theres no excuse for missed tackles, but yea man give my boy some time and let the new coordinator understand how to use him, Its like getting a Bugatti for your 16th birthday lol
