If he's busy teaching, he can't be able to repair spaceships while doing so. However, maybe he's the repair man for fallen ships IN the Training Area.

THIS IS NO TRICK his name is teddy bear 64 and for proof go to star fox wiki and look for a long tab at the top of the page that that is in orange and says its curently under maitanence and theres a pic if him and click on his pic and it says teddy bear 64 and you will notice in his pic that hes holding a wrench so he is probably there mechanic.

I've come up with a thought. Maybe, he's a hologram that was used to teach multiple newbies in piloting on Corneria. This might explain why he has no voice.

He's only seen in Training Mode, and the fact that they have enough technology to create Arwings, it might be possible that they have enough technology to create holograms. I got part of this idea from SergeantLuke, PSISpecter, and AstralDragoon. What do you others think?

The Trainer appears to be a raccoon with a green cap. A theory is that he may be a flight instructor for the Cornerian army. He holds up a wrench showing that he is also some type of mechanic. I've wondered this, too, and this is the first time I've seen someone pose the question. I'm not sure who he really is, but I like to write fan fiction, so...I gave him a role. It's the story of a corporate conflict on Eladard (a planet from the Star Fox 2 beta) between the Cornerian government and a large mining corporation. This guy is a raccoon named Cipher who works as a maintenance technician for Corneria's mining operation.

So what do you think? I just wanted him to have a part.
