Nice battles buddy. Looked like you were having too much fun. Too bad you got robbed at the end. You were able to carry so much more speed onto the straight. Good set ups for your passes. I run in IT right now, but I've really been considering FF or SRF. You guys just seem like you have the most fun out there. Good job.
At around 2:36 that is a Formula Atantic and a F2000 going by. We had qualified in the rain and we three fords were quickest and led the first few laps until the quicker cars could get around.
If you notice at the end of the video, the guy in front of me raises his hand to indicate that he saw the double yellow flags at the station before the bridge on the downhill, indicating the whole course is yellow, or "full course caution".
I am a one armed driver and have an air assisted shifter setup on my car.
hi, my father used to race yrs ago, one of the other guys only had from the eblow up - his (artifical)hand was strapped to the gear knob(it was modified saloons)he was a front runner too, that was back inthe 70s i bet safety regs wouldnt allow it now. Like the guy im talkin about you must have a sore arm after a days racin only more so yours bein a single seater.
Pity bout the sound i understand thats really tricky, anyway great vid. In rod we trust
no, sorry it appears there are or have been more drivers without 2 arms because the guy im talkin about was racing in Ireland(he was Irish/English)it would have been the Irish or Northern Ireland Saloon Car Championship that he raced in, a championship which is non existant but in those days was a large grid of some very impressive machinery.

@jdking39 What is the youngest age permitted in this series. I'm 14 and really interested in racing. Don't have a license yet or anything.

(2000s?) If that's the case, I'm surprised at how well you kept up.

The guy you refer to is Tom Pomeroy, won Formula C (Super Vee) in an Argo in '78, but was DQ'd for his rods, then won again in '79 in the same car.
The artificial right hand he wore resembled the way a socket might attach to the socket wrench, and slipped over the shifter handle.
From what I remember at least. He lives in Texas now.
