  • Thanks for this recipe. Just want to ask that if I am cooking for 25 people, do I just double the amount of ingredients?

  • @soha12103 : This recipe serves 4 but if you are making for a party you would have to figure out for how many people you should make it for. It depends on how many other dishes you are serving with this.

You have to multiply the amount of ingredients into how many batches you are making...

  • You guys are so wonderful!

  • Looks great! Is there a substitute for the oil? I'm trying to follow a very low fat diet. Would broth or water be just as good?

  • @littlefurballs : You can blanch the beans and follow the rest of the recipe :)

  • Woa this dish looks out of this world

  • Beautiful Food made by beautiful Ladies.

  • what's scallion??

  • @vengadiumleviosa scalliona re also known as green onions or spring onion. Google "scallion" and you can see what it looks like.

  • Can I Add some bean sprout on it??

  • Sooooo goood !

    Thanks for sharing.

  • Those green beans look delicious. I know this is Chinese but I'm thinking of making this for Thanksgiving. I love spicy food. Where can I get the chili sauce.

  • @xSuperxAwesomex We make this for thanksgiving. No shame in that! It's very tasty. You can usually get the chili sauce at any grocery store in the oriental section. This is the one we buy at the store. The one we buy is the brand name Huy Fong

  • This selling in some Chinese restaurants now, add a small veggie soup aside, and two lucky cookies, and two steamed rice, a big plate=20$. :) But it worth it. :) If you only order 1 rice and smaller plate will be 10$ for single orders. :)

  • fresh beans needs to be boiled for a little bit but not frozen. this recipe looks good buti would leave out the vinegar and chili sauce. not really my taste in stir fry so much . frozen beans do need a little water sometimes. brown is alright on beans . it give a good camarlized flavor

  • you should have just boiled the beans first and then sautee after. now it looks like shit all brown and burnt..

  • i love this recipe its delicious!!!

  • I'm totally using this recipe next time I make green beans. My 4 year old niece will absolutely loves these since green beans is one of her favorite foods.

  • Thanks. Looks delicious.

  • I love your videos, thank you for sharing...this one looks delicious so I'll cook it later. more power to you Anuja and Hetal.

  • OMG.. I tried this recipe. It was so good!

  • THIS RECIPE WAS DELICIOUS!!

  • I lived in China for while and I ate this dish at least 4 times a week. In China they add some thinly sliced pork and a little more chilli. Great food!

  • Good recipe but i added sesame oil last in the sauce, was told that it should not be over heated as its delicate flavour and arma changes completely making it slightly pungent, so it should always be added last as a garnish and taken off heat immadiately. It tastes and smells lovely then :) took some chinese food 101 classes!

  • gud 1!!!

  • I just tried these green beans and they were delicious!!! Thank you so much for this great recipe

  • I love your presentation. The recipie is easy to follow and easy to hear. This looks so delicious, I'm going to have to try it! Thank you!

  • If I substituted Indian long green beans, how long would I cook them? I've tried cooking them before and they require more cooking time.

    Thanks.

  • @TooLooseLeTrek

We have not tried this recipe with the long string beans so cannot give you an exact time. However, it will be slightly longer as some of the skin on string beans tends to be tougher.

  • FAIL! length of beans too long, and didn't remove the string fiber along the whole bean. sooooo fail.

  • I like it!

  • I eyeballed my ingredients for this recipe..made the beans tonight, came out a bit hot (tastes great) but quite a bit of heat...the overall recipe is great though...great guide but everything is made to taste it seems =P thx a lot.

  • Ok, so this looks quite nice but it has nothing to with Szechuan food.

  • that looks good with the sesame seeds

  • that's looks delicious.

  • mmmm Im so HUNGRY!!!

  • Hot and Spicy is Szechuan...

  • Spicy please!!!

  • Thats not Szechuan

  • i just wanna ask..

do u have to talk off the end bits???

  • @starriieebaby : It would be good if you do or else they will be stringy...

  • @starriieebaby No, you do not have to talk to the green beans. But, you can "take off" the ends.

  • can i add any meat and an onion ?

  • @jerk913 You may add any meat except GOAT. NO GOAT. Onion is okay.

  • Use stainless steel

    because

    Non-Stick gives you cancer

  • @odiousominious Just like microwaves give you cancer? Please...

The chemical bonding the non-stick surface to the pan itself CAN cause cancer, but won't necessarily do so. If it is heated to what, 600 something degrees it can break down and release toxic fumes, then again so will everything else.

I'm tired of people spending their lives worrying about getting cancer, spare us the stupidity and take your paranoia somewhere else.

  • You two are great! You made that look so easy. Please keep posting more.
