709 slim is crap. I bought one. The more you shoot it the looser the magazines got until they would just fall out bottom of gun while shooting. Took gun back to store and they replaced it.....With another defective gun with same problem.

be careful with the pt709 in single fire you can pull the triger back to just before fireing point and push the saftey up and it will hold the triger the gun will still fire by triger pull so you could have a pull aim and safety and still have a hot gun

I really love the fact that the Taurus 738 TCP locks open after the last shot and has a loaded chamber indicator. The other pistols like the ruger LCP, NAA 380 or magnum researches micro desert eagle where all great pistols but everyone of them lacked some sort of last shot indication or loaded chamber indicators. I gotta give it to Taurus for this new category of compact pistols they have outdone the competition. I may have failed to mention some companies so much came out last year.

Taurus comes with two (2) magazines,an internal safety device,and a concealed carry holster.What do the others come with" a plastic case" and a pad lock.The sights on the Taurus are better than the Ruger LCP and the Kel Tec.In retrospect I think that all of the big three Ruger Kel Tec and Taurus are great Pistols. However the rush to get them on the market,has caused a lot of manufacturing bugs that have plagued both Ruger and Taurus,because of the high demand

I carry and XD 45 and have never had an issue with it.. I like the XDM 9mm too. In gerneral they have a very good line with the XDs

@chechnya Well for starters I bought it brand new and every other round jams, then I call Taurus and they can not even find the serial number I give them, and then once they find it they tell me it will be 6-8 weeks to fix and return. I say a gun out of the box with problems is a POS. No quality control, no nothing. Now you know.

Tauras my not be the best gun on the market but the give them credit where credit is due they have great customer service. Someone from my gun club got a used Tauras .45 Pistol from a pawan shop. It had problems he called Tauras up they told him to send it back and they gave him a brand new one. That is good customer service. There has been word that Remmington might buy out Tauras. that should be interesting.

I got a slim 9mm two weeks ago, and it had to be sent back. The chamber was to large causing fte. they said they send Taurus guns back all the time. I got a G-27 in its place!
