if you want a free audio editing/recording software, look up Audacity. I have always used it, and you can do a lot more than just up the pitch. its awesome and its free (and its also not a virus lol i made sure of that)

I don't know exactly what effects you applied, but from what I can hear Audacity is a free program that can do what you've done to it already, and since it's free you don't need to fuss with crappy recordings and such.
