@TnTom1959 He was a teenager when he was locked up in this mental institute. The song Fire and Rain was about his friend, Suzanne who was there and I believe left, when he wasn't aware of her leaving.

lived with jt as mentor/ family shaperone. came out of it with a profound sense of optimism due to the upbeat-ness of his prose and verse(no homage to moriarty) but respect no less. legend yes!!!

Absolutely fabulous JT stuff, the real old good stuff. I was 4 years old, but I used to listen to my older bro's JT albums, and this guy is such a legend....the first COOL dude folk guy, really
