My Mother's family were Ukrainian partisans. She would work in the fields during the day. And at night she took supplies to my Uncle Dimitri's partisan band. It is an amazing story in how she went from Lutsk, Ukraine to Albuquerque New Mexico USA. I come from good Cossack stock.
Today, it seems that the fascists and capitalists are the winner. But they will get their Stalingrad 2.0 and will never rise up again, if we stand up and fight !!!
it is true that stalin was a murderer dictator but it is definitely false and even a crime to maintain that he was as evil as hitler. hitler was a single monster in human history. those who say hitler and stalin are same or even dare go further and say stalin was worse like the bastard solzhenitsin were but those who wished(wish) to hide the truth. though many millions of human beings were killed in gulags but gulags were not made to kill systematically whereas nazi death camps were,
I really like your songs and perspective. You don't preach or rant or anything. The songs and subject matter speck for themselves. I'm American and I'd have to thank you for giving people like me, who are open-minded, some insight into how things are in other parts of the world. That there is no evil bogeyman, or red death, waiting on us in some other foreign country. And that there are other methods to try, and that people are not evil as our Fox Propaganda network would have us believe.
@PalemoonSun , congratulations, dude, thats is a right and great way of think, when us use our own brain, and think our own way of think, things change in that very moment....dont believe in CNN or FOX, or NBC or ABC, all of that tell lies, only lies for the weak minds...some poet said " russian love their childrens too", all of us are humans, all cry, all laugh, all eat, all love, all die, all of us want to be happy
@FOUGHETTHEPAST I'm really glad you liked it. Believe it or not - this is the original and the only recording of this song. I just took my guitar and recorded it as it came to my mind.
I agree that it would be good if it were a bit longer, but its simply my imperfect style of making songs :)
For example, I have a couple of songs that are well over 10 minutes long. I play it until moment of inspiration is over :)
Stalingrad, close combat, freezing winter, and sometimes where you had to jump over huge cracks in the floor to get to the other side of the street, and if you fell in, you'd be dead or fighting in the sewage system. That is one crappy battle to fight in...
Wow, removing the ideology of the time, these soldiers just did what they believed and were convinced that what was best for their country, they saw and experienced things that no one will ever know or understand, they deserve admiration and respect regardless of what twisted minds of its leaders.

Anthony Beevor's "Stalingrad" is a most hateful piece of neo-fascist propaganda. I have never read "Berlin" but I am told it is even worse.
The Soviet/Russian historians denounced him as a neo-fascist while a group of Anglo-American war historians drafted a statement, supposedly in his defense, merely saying "It is important everyone be allowed to express their opinions." In other words, he is a fascist but he is our fascist so let him have his say.
Great song. When I learn to play my guitar,I shall play this song. To the unknown soldier, your words have inspired many. Thankyou for making this video my friend.
5. Monopolistic policies are against free market enterprising.
6. Instead of seeing the individual, the collective is prioritized on expense of liberty.
7. Right. "Race struggle" instead of "Class struggle". Social darwinism.

This made me laugh like nothing in recent days. You've learned about communism in a university? Let me guess... was it an American university by any chance?
But indoctrination is not enough, you have to be really stupid to make any ideological ties between communism and fascism.
Read Communist Manifesto first. But since you are apparently just a fool, I'd rather suggest that you go throw yourself at a speeding car and die.
Long live the working class ! Freedom and power to the proletariat !
oh and if you cant see the common denominator between them, which is the survival of their people and their country - as a similarity of both ideologies, then you are really are lost - i dont think you ought to be studing politics in that case
Under Marxist ideology, the Proletariat, or the worker class, would benefit from the system, to put it simple. Fascism is the opposite where the bourgeoisie, the business-ownership class, would benefit, and that involves corporatism, which is not even Marx but Mussolini and Hitler. The whole "red fascism" nonsense was created to destroy a system that really can work and make fascism and capitalism fail but could never manifest itself in America thanks to propaganda and ignorance.
Fascism won? Hm, then I wonder why I didn't notice. There is no more Third Reich, no more Fascist Italy, and I can't find any other country with fascism in power.
Or did you talk about WW2? Well, I thought the Red Army beat the fascists ...
By the way, communism didn't fail, because what failed was no communism any more.
well im talking about how our society today represents a far more right wing way of thinking, almost a neo-facism in which the North still controls the trade system and exploits the south countries for resources,
democractic countries of the west are no more democractic than china,
Hombre, did you forget about Franco? Did you forget that Spain was a Fascist nation until 1975? Did you forget that Spain still has a strong fascist party?
@Donald09231985 It says much of that in the Communist Manifesto. Marx was a kind man with good intent. Too bad people have twisted his ideology enough to make him cry.
@HeroicSoviet With all the Glenn Becks of this world that, on top of the "twisting of the ideology", equate Obama to someone like Stalin or Lenin, Marx would not be alone in those regards. It is injustice of epic proportions.
@Donald09231985 Under the Marxist fantasy of Communism, it was the opposite of fascism, but in reality, Marxism is socialist, not communist, and is just a different branch from the same tree as fascism. In fascism, the government controls the economy (not the business-ownership class---IN FACT, fascism seeks to destroy the bourgeousie just as much as Marxism does) just as in Marxism, the government controls the economy.
Then your teachers are dumbasses saying fascism is like Communism is like saying Depotism is a Democracy seriously your very ignorant In Communism everything is distrubuted Equally in Fascism the Military uses everything nothing is left for the people
well actually every single ideology to date revolves around survival, they all similar in the goal they are trying to achieve
nothing is distributed equall in communism, because it wont happen, the state still has everything.
in Germany fascism, is based on guarding wealth creation from a capitalist system - but essentially the reason why it is based on the military is because of WW2 and the situation the world was heading into
communism advocating the domination of the working class in all forms of life,
Hitler advocated the domination of a different class which was racially pure, my arugment is that both communism and Nazism promote the same concepts and actually like all other ideologies try to gurantee the existence of itself and its people
its survival - if you cannot understand that, well im afraid you might as well get back to the stone age - simpleton
Yes, what's wrong in communism? What is democracy(on the paper)? The power of the most part of population. What is communism? The power of working class. What is working class? The most part of population.
This is a superficial sight on things. The Jews are innocent, the Bourgeois are exploiters. The Jews can't change being Jews (at least not what the Nazis meant with "being Jewish"), the Bourgeois can. And finally, communism does not want to eliminate the Bourgeois as human beings, but the get rid of the Bourgeoisie as a class - a big difference to fhe Nazis' "final solution".
However, when the communist and nazists got 52% of the votes in 1932, the democratic right could not govern the country like they had previously. The "solution" was to give the Nazis the chancellor-post, but keep the majority in cabinet. That way Hitler could be controlled they thought.
Obviously they made a terrible mistake resulting in many of their own being murdered - and Nazi dictatorship.
So then everyone who supports the idea of western democracy are fascists? It is ridicules to define everyone who isn't far-left socislists as fascists. That's not the true definition of fascism, it is just marxists using the word as a smear word.
The difference between marxism and nazism is smaller than you think. Do you think it is a coincidence that both China and Russia have made the transition from communism to fascist-like-systems (authoritarian capitalism/cooperatism)?
Nazism and fascism is almost the same thing. In what way was Hitler a conservertive according to you?
Hitler did make social reforms before WWII... Most nazists were anti-communists, but they were not anti-socialists. That's why the soc. dem. coop with nazists during the presidental election 1932 against Hindenburg - common enemy.
Hitler's success was based mainly on 30s eco. depr. People though capitalism had failed - lost faith in the liberals/conservertives and wanted something new.
Well contrary, I too can present many example of how the nazists acted "leftist", but lets be honest, the nazists (and fascists) attracted people who were both conservertive and socialists in different ways creating that unholy union of nazism and fascism.
No, the nazists did not just claim to be progressive, there was a clear left-wing of the NSDAP. See Röhm, Strasser for ex. Many party members wanted alliance with the Soviet Union. See also many movements within neo-nazism.
That's true, but Hitler and Mussolini challanged the traditional way of scaling ideologies - claiming a sort of "third position".
Left-wing conservertism is social conservertism (viewings in favour of the welfare-state) and farthest out left are radical conservertism. Right-wing conservertism is liberal conservertism.
Hitler viewed him self as a radical - leading the "national socialist revolution". He definitely thought of himself as progressive.
Many social democrates argue for cooperatism. Historically that's why communists often call them "social fascists". Then again, EVERYONE who doesn't support planned economics are viewed as "fascists" by communists. ^^
However, social democracy is not generally viewed as "right". They are part of socialism.
Hitler also supported cooperatism. His left-wing supporters were anti-capitalists. Hence, the connection between Socialism-Nazism is not far fetched.
It depends on which kind of nazism you are talking about. Left-wing nazism (for ex. strasserism) argue for collectivisation of property and is definitely a form of socialism (right wing socialism).
Right-wing nazism, which is almost the same as fascism, can not fairly be called socialism since it is more unique in its composition. However, don't forget that mussolini originally was a socialist, but found socialism "unfulfilled", and created his own branch.
No, you don't need to spam on a video you don't care about. If you don't like it, don't comment on it. The biggest battle in modern history, in terms of forces deployed ,was the Battle of Kursk where the Red Army broke the Germans and enabled the push towards Berlin
When the USSR was established, the USA, France, and England send warships and troops which engaged in battle in support of the White Russian, pro Tsarist troops in an effort to put down the socialist state. I could go on with more historical facts... lligam, please study your history.
Russia has been especially attacked consistently by the West since the Revolution. Russia is still a great danger to Capitalism. It's people may again seize the state and put their might back into the revolution. This time they won't buy that socialism in one country crap. The capitalists know this and are doing everything they can to oppress the Russian people... White Army, Black Baron.
Ukko, how can USA beat Russia if they can't even supply their troops? America would lose if they fought Russia even with their allies, that's why America wants all these treaties with Russia.
Because USA can (although with hiccups) supply their troops from 6000 miles from their homeland, Russia can't even supply their troops within their own borders. And last time I checked it was Russia begging the US not to put up that missile shield.
Well no shit, America is surrounding Russia with that shield, because America is thirsty for resources which are located in Siberia. They surround Russia, then they can say "alright, give us Siberia or we nuke you" and then it's good game. A brutal game of chess.
The Siege of Stalingrad wasn't just the turning point of The Secon Great War, but the most gruesome battle in history estimating more than 1,000,000. The reason for the adding casualties might have been the rule during the battle: Cowards were traitors, and those who retreat were shot by their beloved comrades.
What do you think about Soviet Union's invasion against Japanese territories after Japanese Empire surrendered? Attention: 'Former' Japanese soldiers were sent to Siberia for servitude even if they STOPPED fighting. How do you justify this invasion before the International Law? If you say it was a retaliation for crimes committed by Japan, did Japan invade China? Hell no. Manchuria was independent itself. And what did Chinese do to Japan? Tell me. Don't only accuse Japan of the war. BIAS,
Yes way. Kuril [Chishimaretto] Islands and South of Sakhalin [Karafuto] used to belong to Japan, but those territories were invaded by the Soviet Union after the Japanese Army surrendered. Truth is truth.
How about Europeans or Soviet/Russian Empire? Don't tell me they didn't do it.They all did it, but it is very criminal to attack Japanese territory after Japanese surrender. Also, the Soviet Union sent Japanese soldiers to labor camps in Siberia. Why would it do the same thing as Nazi Germany did? I thought the socialist state would not do that.
What about Europe? Germany for ex. was divided among the victors and also lost a lot of its territory to the allied powers. What goes around, comes around.
Well, communism and nazism are related ideologies - different kinds of socialism. That's why they did what they did against human beings.
Good thing there is a conservative government in Japan since post-WWII that will ensure freedom, democracy and identity.
ok....go and find how many,GB ar looser country they ar like parasitic....USA was fight aginst japan and thet i respekt but they dint deffet nazzi(save the world) russai do thet with 20milions dead solders....GB i dont whont to comment ther ar shame for europe
Hope you're right friend. Although, what would happen if *hypothetically* Hitler and Stalin joined sides? Now that would be a challenge for us freedom lovers :P
Wait... the world is already enough, but you maybe conquer it all, but you will never conquer WHOLE RUSSIA :DDD. I don't think some strong army can take over 17 million kmq :).
Your think so???For your fucking girls army,it was wery deficulty to conquer IRAQ,and after it you say that USA can defeat Russia...Hahahaha...Only in dream or in computer game)))
Soviet war machine was undefeatable. The only way it could be destroyed was from the inside, and US actually pulled it off, thanks to their inside man Gorbachov.
But the Soviet union lives on, it will forever remain in our red hearts.
Gorbachov relized that bullshit called communism wouldn't work and decided to surrender. It's up to you if you choose the losing side and want to live your lives in eternal poverty. Shame on your poor souls, we really pity you.
That's not true. Socialism bankrupted Russia, and the economic growth Russia have experienced since ~92 is thanks to capitalism and free trade. Planned economics have left millions of people dead or bankrupt. This is a historical fact - learn from it!
Blame it on America, go ahead we take the heat. We're men, not little cry babies like you. We deal with our problems and blame our mistakes on ourselves, not others.
One world socialist government. Peace and Prosperity.
Here in the USA life sucks for us low income wage slaves. No health care. No retirement. Then after we've worked all our lives and are still poor we're blamed as lazy by our oppressors. Our children sent to kill and die in war after war for colonies. I'm a 53 year old worker. I've seen this done to so many good workers. It is my lot here also. Capitalism is everything the old Soviet propaganda says it is.
sry if this old...but your right soviet union still ives on, and believe many countries that are sided with USA nowdays would leave them and join Russia, maybe not officially by their politics but their populations, From Mexico to all Russian comarades we Salute you, and you can expect a hand of support from latinamerican countries, We wait for the day US fall, and capitalism as well. God bless communism and their ppl!!!
How many of you experts have been to Stalingrad/Volgograd?.
I have, and I have stood beneath the giant statue of Rodina on the Kurgan. I have stood in the Hall of Soviet Heroes and viewed the thousands of names embellishing the walls, and I have placed a single rose at the foot of the Eternal Soviet Flame. None of you can possibly imagine the Hell that the brave Soviet forces underwent in the battle of Stalingrad. Slava Krasnaya Armiya. Slava Sovietsky Zemlya.
see guys i am greek... and russians have attacked us sooo many times... but i respect them cause of theis curage...

Hitler and socialism:
1. He nationalized companies. State control instead of free market enterprise.
2. The Prussian nobility marginalized.
3. The Church marginalized.
4. Many expansive social reforms.
5. No respect for private property or ownership.
6. Collectivism.
7. Social darwinism.
8. He called himself a socialist.
Right-wing socialism is still the best term describing the "national socialist revolution" and "state socialism", which make up nazism.

Or did you talk about WW2? Well, I thought the Red Army beat the fascists ...
By the way, communism didn't fail, because what failed was no communism any more.
Sluggard 2 years ago 4
well im talking about how our society today represents a far more right wing way of thinking, almost a neo-facism in which the North still controls the trade system and exploits the south countries for resources,
democractic countries of the west are no more democractic than china,

@Donald09231985 It says much of that in the Communist Manifesto. Marx was a kind man with good intent. Too bad people have twisted his ideology enough to make him cry.
HeroicSoviet 1 year ago
@HeroicSoviet With all the Glenn Becks of this world that, on top of the "twisting of the ideology", equate Obama to someone like Stalin or Lenin, Marx would not be alone in those regards. It is injustice of epic proportions.

Donald09231985 1 year ago
@Donald09231985 Under the Marxist fantasy of Communism, it was the opposite of fascism, but in reality, Marxism is socialist, not communist, and is just a different branch from the same tree as fascism. In fascism, the government controls the economy (not the business-ownership class---IN FACT, fascism seeks to destroy the bourgeousie just as much as Marxism does) just as in Marxism, the government controls the economy.

Then your teachers are dumbasses saying fascism is like Communism is like saying Depotism is a Democracy seriously your very ignorant In Communism everything is distrubuted Equally in Fascism the Military uses everything nothing is left for the people
TheGermanItalianGuy2 2 years ago
well actually every single ideology to date revolves around survival, they all similar in the goal they are trying to achieve
nothing is distributed equall in communism, because it wont happen, the state still has everything.
in Germany fascism, is based on guarding wealth creation from a capitalist system - but essentially the reason why it is based on the military is because of WW2 and the situation the world was heading into

er sorry what planet are you from,
communism advocating the domination of the working class in all forms of life,
Hitler advocated the domination of a different class which was racially pure, my arugment is that both communism and Nazism promote the same concepts and actually like all other ideologies try to gurantee the existence of itself and its people
its survival - if you cannot understand that, well im afraid you might as well get back to the stone age - simpleton
Galacticmaster 2 years ago
Yes, what's wrong in communism? What is democracy(on the paper)? The power of the most part of population. What is communism? The power of working class. What is working class? The most part of population.
Speak yourself
Scoutrussp7 2 years ago
This is a superficial sight on things. The Jews are innocent, the Bourgeois are exploiters. The Jews can't change being Jews (at least not what the Nazis meant with "being Jewish"), the Bourgeois can. And finally, communism does not want to eliminate the Bourgeois as human beings, but the get rid of the Bourgeoisie as a class - a big difference to fhe Nazis' "final solution".
Sluggard 2 years ago 5
was i talking about the Jews,
no - you completely missed the point
Galacticmaster 2 years ago
nazism is not a political ideal. Nazis were Fascists.
StupidSmartGuy 2 years ago
Hitler and Hindenburg hated each others.
However, when the communist and nazists got 52% of the votes in 1932, the democratic right could not govern the country like they had previously. The "solution" was to give the Nazis the chancellor-post, but keep the majority in cabinet. That way Hitler could be controlled they thought.
Obviously they made a terrible mistake resulting in many of their own being murdered - and Nazi dictatorship.
enevighet17 2 years ago
So then everyone who supports the idea of western democracy are fascists? It is ridicules to define everyone who isn't far-left socislists as fascists. That's not the true definition of fascism, it is just marxists using the word as a smear word.
The difference between marxism and nazism is smaller than you think. Do you think it is a coincidence that both China and Russia have made the transition from communism to fascist-like-systems (authoritarian capitalism/cooperatism)?
enevighet17 2 years ago
Nazism and fascism is almost the same thing. In what way was Hitler a conservertive according to you?
Hitler did make social reforms before WWII... Most nazists were anti-communists, but they were not anti-socialists. That's why the soc. dem. coop with nazists during the presidental election 1932 against Hindenburg - common enemy.
Hitler's success was based mainly on 30s eco. depr. People though capitalism had failed - lost faith in the liberals/conservertives and wanted something new.
enevighet17 2 years ago
Well contrary, I too can present many example of how the nazists acted "leftist", but lets be honest, the nazists (and fascists) attracted people who were both conservertive and socialists in different ways creating that unholy union of nazism and fascism.
No, the nazists did not just claim to be progressive, there was a clear left-wing of the NSDAP. See Röhm, Strasser for ex. Many party members wanted alliance with the Soviet Union. See also many movements within neo-nazism.
enevighet17 2 years ago
That's true, but Hitler and Mussolini challanged the traditional way of scaling ideologies - claiming a sort of "third position".
Left-wing conservertism is social conservertism (viewings in favour of the welfare-state) and farthest out left are radical conservertism. Right-wing conservertism is liberal conservertism.
Hitler viewed him self as a radical - leading the "national socialist revolution". He definitely thought of himself as progressive.
enevighet17 2 years ago
Many social democrates argue for cooperatism. Historically that's why communists often call them "social fascists". Then again, EVERYONE who doesn't support planned economics are viewed as "fascists" by communists. ^^
However, social democracy is not generally viewed as "right". They are part of socialism.
Hitler also supported cooperatism. His left-wing supporters were anti-capitalists. Hence, the connection between Socialism-Nazism is not far fetched.
enevighet17 2 years ago
Fascism is ideologically placed inbetween right-wing socialism and left-wing conservertive. A mixure of them both.
enevighet17 2 years ago
Some socialists support corporatism.

Ukko, how can USA beat Russia if they can't even supply their troops? America would lose if they fought Russia even with their allies, that's why America wants all these treaties with Russia.
Rman301 2 years ago
Because USA can (although with hiccups) supply their troops from 6000 miles from their homeland, Russia can't even supply their troops within their own borders. And last time I checked it was Russia begging the US not to put up that missile shield.
bullskitur 2 years ago
Well no shit, America is surrounding Russia with that shield, because America is thirsty for resources which are located in Siberia. They surround Russia, then they can say "alright, give us Siberia or we nuke you" and then it's good game. A brutal game of chess.

BIAS,
mutsueaa 2 years ago
What Japanese territories? Oh... The ones they had invaded and conquered in the previous decade or so. Oh my! What a crime against Japan! NOT.
Commiton 2 years ago
Yes way. Kuril [Chishimaretto] Islands and South of Sakhalin [Karafuto] used to belong to Japan, but those territories were invaded by the Soviet Union after the Japanese Army surrendered. Truth is truth.
mutsueaa 2 years ago
You are right! I should have known that. Your mentioning the islands by name reminded me. Thank you for correcting my error.
Commiton 2 years ago
Yes, that's true, but what goes around, comes around. Japan tried to expand its empire, but failed and lost some territory to Russia.
enevighet17 2 years ago
How about Europeans or Soviet/Russian Empire? Don't tell me they didn't do it.They all did it, but it is very criminal to attack Japanese territory after Japanese surrender. Also, the Soviet Union sent Japanese soldiers to labor camps in Siberia. Why would it do the same thing as Nazi Germany did? I thought the socialist state would not do that.
mutsueaa 2 years ago

What about Europe? Germany for ex. was divided among the victors and also lost a lot of its territory to the allied powers. What goes around, comes around.
Well, communism and nazism are related ideologies - different kinds of socialism. That's why they did what they did against human beings.
Good thing there is a conservative government in Japan since post-WWII that will ensure freedom, democracy and identity.
