  • I am REALLY GLAD Paul is still alive !! ( Leave that junk alone )

  • When i listen Paul Gilbert feel my heart beating so fast ! AMAZING

  • I came.

Actually, no I didn't, but I was pretty damn close to doing so.

  • GODLY

  • yea for sure, but still its only as if people dont know any better some people are too close minded or shut off from creativity to go out and learn music theory and how to play an instrument, i mean i used to be like that i would listen to catchy pop radio tunes but 5 years after getting a guitar things change haha you just grow up musically you know

  • i hear a lot of the band Boston in this song for some reason.

  • i hear it too

  • 1:57 Pure Paul Gilbert

  • zomg drum solo at the beginning!

  • :OOO

  • Great song, great album

i like how the song has a little "country" in it...

like macnitro said brian may thing..maybe some ted nugent in there..

    all in all...an amazing song

  • This has a strong Brian May thing in it in the beginning :P

  • Such great music for being inspired by a drinking and driving accident paul was involved in...lol >_> only paul gilbert could do that

  • I find it kinda weird how no one listens to this stuff on Youtube, compared to bands with vocals. It's ashaming, because this is the best guitar ever. I love the drums too... Artists like Steve Vai and Joe Satriani don't have many views or rates either. :l

  • I don't find it weird, I find it disappointing... The reason most people don't like instrumentalists is because it's too complex. Too many kids these days just like rap or pop... I have a theory, if more kids learned guitar or some other instrument, they would understand the difficulty and be able to truly appreciate what great virtuosos such as Gilbert and Satch can do... Not to mention that what they do with a guitar can spontaneously impregnate women : D

    I prefer instrumental music myself

  • LOL you stole joke that from that YYZ video. I completely agree however. People have more appreciation for catchiness than talent nowadays. That soulja boy song got several MILLION views, despite the fact that it required some random guy and about 5 minutes with a synthesizer. It bugs me...

  • Damn! Ya caught me! I couldn't remember where I had heard/read that joke before, but it seemed relevant at the time... XD I agree with the "catchiness" over talent rationale, sad as it may be... Oh well, we know better! Rock on guitar virtuosos!

  • you gotta give cathiness some credit though. at the end of the day, it doesnt matter how hard or easy something is to play, only how it sounds. malmsteen and batio can sure play, buuuut... they got no songs on my ipod. cause they dont sound good. so its a waste of their talents

  • exactly

  • fucking retarded.

  • its true thats what i think about music if it doesnt sound good or make sense then its worse then the pig squeal death metal band that play the same shit over for ten minutes its gotta have feeling doesnt mean shit if your the fastest it means shit if you can make good sounds come out of your guitar through your fingers from the heart !!

  • Absolutely true,my friends, whenever i listen to something instrumental they say things like:"when are they gonna sing?", it just annoys me, i tell them that they can't hear what i perceive in instrumentals because they've never picked up an instrument and get to know how difficult it is. Instead they listen to very minimalist stuff like the strokes, the killers, and that kind of crap. All they can handle is just 3 notes in the verse and 2 in the chorus,to me that's way boring and predictable!!!

  • @devor3 amen!

  • @devor3 Tramps that frequent nightclubs: "When are they going to sing"

  • @devor3 Damn right! I personally don't think singers are really necessary for any kind of band. They are just there to give the song the theme which the guitars and bass can do anyway. Just play the guitar like a singer would.

  • @jkalbin it has Nothing to do with it being too "complex"

Most people i know Like Steve Vai in David lee roths Band

some of his solo stuff is Boring. its Good to hear a song.

I like instrumentals also But can't & Don't listen to them always.

heres MY Theory let them listen to Queer music theres already 1 Million more Guitarists than there was 10 years ago.

  • @jkalbin Man, I couldn't agree more. Older friends of mine described kicking back to just listen to a new album. One side - then the other. Visual distraction...? Maybe a lava lamp. And of course orchestras etc etc. But with complex music you have to listen, concentrate and engage.

People want background muzack really. Simple hooks, catchy lyrics- it's like music to suck your thumb by. And an aid to visual stimulation.

  • Most epicly amazing song.

  • wow......this is pretty amazing music....rich, complex and fun

  • love this song paul gilbert rules!!!

  • that's sweet this guy's the best

  • He's right up there, at least. One of the best, we can safely say.
