have the lg dare. over 2 years now. havent had 1 problem with it to this day. one of the best working phones i ever had. everyone has soo many problems with their phones these days. only thing i can think of is from carrying your cell phone in your pocket can mess thinsg up. i carry my phones in a holster.

He got his without a data package because he got it on June 7, 2009 which was wayy before they made you pay for the data package. But you DO need a $10 a month data package so that other guys was wrong!

@junkiegamer all verizon phones require a data plan now of at least 9.99 except on the motorola rival it is optional but other than that they all require a data plan smart phones require a data plan of at lease 30.00 dollars a month..... Verizon is getting greedy, i think its ridiculous.

you got your short cuts and if you have a thing called clock widgets you mess with that or you can like click on the clock on the home screen and you could change it that way.

I have this phone and I love it but theres just one problem i can't figure out... HOW DO U ADD WORDS IN YOUR T9 WORD DICTIONARY!? I tried sooo many things and no matter what it wont remember my words.. if anyone has an answer message me. If you type the word in Abc first and then type it in on T9 and hit space it works but only like a few minutes..

i think its similar to the dares, if you put it to your face it will shut off the screen like when your talking on the phone. or it will adjust the brightness
