It's very simple. On the pedestals, you need the proper amount of aggressiveness. Too little and you will be disqualified. Too much, like Dynamite did, and you'll be taking a trip to the mat below.

Dynamite appears to have shorter arms, so he probably had to lunge more than the taller Glads would've. He's not lacking for power, but power means little if you can't hit the other guy.
