18 Aircrafts wont give PAF any edge considering that India is going to have 278 SU-30s pretty soon. Pakistan should pay more attention its JF-17 program where they can do mass production of those birds. These Block 52 F-16s may never fly in war time. Americans sold Boeing to Chinese that was bugged with hidden chips. Hand full of such chips can make these planes dead birds when war time arrives.

then, these f16s are also not fully featured as in avionics and guidance systems needed to be used in wars. the software maps also known as gps guidance systems do not cater for terrain outside pakistan's land which means if needed in a war like scenario, you are effectively flying a fighter from 60's. moreover, there is always has been talk of kill switches in f16s which if needed could render it useless.
i see there a lot of hype lately about Pakistan buying new fighters as in f16. there are however points to ponder about the purchases from usa. what probably no know considers or knows is that all of the new f16s provided to pakistan are with strict conditions foremost of which is none of these f16s can be used against another country with heavy defense installations (read india). in other words, usa has strictly supplied these f16s for use inside pakistan airspace only.
Lets hope & pray that these F-16s (Block-52, Block-60) have the capability to stand up in mock up air to air combat against IAF Flankers and the rest of the MIG series.
As we all know this is Block-52,lets wait for the approval for the Block-60 F-16s, then INSHALLAH, we will be greatest F-16 based Islamic Airforce in the world in terms Air Maneuverability or EVERYTHING we can think of.

i personally believe, india and israel is so terrorized of pakistan that they wet their pants everytime a pakistani fighter takes off. not to mention india again hindering pakistans jf17 programme this time from france. india is a sissy country...so is israel. those who cant fight on equal terms should put on bikinis and eat cheese. but then, i have a question for bharat and israel, are you sure you can still take on pakistan and the PAF after all these sissy acts? you people really suck !

then, these f16s are also not fully featured as in avionics and guidance systems needed to be used in wars. the software maps also known as gps guidance systems do not cater for terrain outside pakistan's land which means if needed in a war like scenario, you are effectively flying a fighter from 60's. moreover, there is always has been talk of kill switches in f16s which if needed could render it useless.
such is the decadence of usa.

i see there a lot of hype lately about Pakistan buying new fighters as in f16. there are however points to ponder about the purchases from usa. what probably no know considers or knows is that all of the new f16s provided to pakistan are with strict conditions foremost of which is none of these f16s can be used against another country with heavy defense installations (read india). in other words, usa has strictly supplied these f16s for use inside pakistan airspace only.

Lets hope & pray that these F-16s (Block-52, Block-60) have the capability to stand up in mock up air to air combat against IAF Flankers and the rest of the MIG series.

As we all know this is Block-52,lets wait for the approval for the Block-60 F-16s, then INSHALLAH, we will be greatest F-16 based Islamic Airforce in the world in terms Air Maneuverability or EVERYTHING we can think of.
