I would go for Boeing. And I understand how non airliner enthusiasts(not suggesting you aren't one)can mix up airbus with boeing but HOW THE HELL DO YOU MANAGE TO PUT A PLANE THAT CLEARLY SAYS "AIRBUS INDUSTRIE" IN THE BOEING PICTURES!!!!!!!!!!!
@moaa747 well said, Boeing has always been and always will be the superior aircraft manufacturer. Scairbuses are made to rival Boeing, when has airbus created an aircraft that in some way, shape or form, is truly original. They never have, just look as the A350, it's virtually identical to the 787, and which one came first? The boeing aircraft.
I hate it when people argue about which airline is "better". Really? Its like a high school rivalry. People hate the other side, but they dont really know why.
They are not changing because the A380 that plane has been plagued with more problems then any other First design A/C. I have only noticed foreign carries purchasing A380. In todays market unless your avg flight is over 10 hrs there really is no need for an A380. so why would they get one when most flights are for the continental US. Guys it really is all about the bottom line. They get these scairbuses and by the first C or D check they sell them off to an airline in Asia then buy a new one.
American registered carriers are buying Airbus because Airbus Industries practically give them away. They just want to show on the books they out sell Boeing. What they lose up front they make up for in spare parts due to failures. Also I have worked both type A/C as an Engineer and Boeing is a superior Aircraft. As far as AA they are trying to get rid of the last A300 and Jetblue wanted B737 but good old Southwest blocked that from ever happening. Remember folks its all about the bottom line.
@moaa747 I am proud to be on Airbuses side because they have made fantastic planes and the very old A300 is still going. Airbus is brill :) Boeing is not :(
no, boeing wins, older is better, besides, Boeing is a legend, it actually made the world's first pressurized aircraft in the world(Boeing 307 Stratoliner)
and Airbus actually used a modified Boeing 377 Stratocruiser(the Super Guppy) to transport the A300 parts waaaaay back then, so, who wins now?
ok how about , jet blue , us airways nwa , united airlines , american airlines, virgin america , fed ex , frontier , delta airlines , usa 3000 , these are just a few i could think of from the top of mu head now if boeing was better why would they change to a worse aircraft ? airbus aint even american so what does that tell you ? your last comment is childish and pointless . how old are you ten ?
Virgin America is still owned by Virgin Atlantic.. Delta only gets its airbuses from NWA merger... Fedex only uses the a300 but has orders for a380 ... same with UPS
I have no idea why but they seem as if they have less character than the old DC-10s or L-1011s and MD-11s. But as of newer aircraft i would prefer Boeing because of the 787 is in my opinion better than the A380.
As to Boeing or Airbus i would choose McDonnell Douglas lol i like them the best probably because their planes look really nice and have lots of character. Airbus has planes which i like i.e. A300 early models, A320 family and A310. Although the A330 has an outstanding safety record and i have flown on it many times i just think it is boring, same with the Boeing 767 (Except the -200) and 777 and 747-400.
it is the boeing 797 type it into google images i havent edited it at all supossed to be very quiet because the engines are on the top and faster because it is all one piece of machinery and it is like 1 wind so it is supposed to cause less drag sorry i have taken my time to get back
Just typed in 787 in google images and kept flicking through the pages but if it isnt that then i got it from a page with a picture of a boeing and scrolled down till i found a suitable picture all my pictures are from google images!

chrissyboy129 6 months ago
@chrissyboy129 airbus has way more technology and airbus is a little more safe in the air with the fly by wire system
MrPaki1996 6 months ago
@MrPaki1996 What about Boeing? The new one just came out the 787. It might have the features like Airbus.

@moaa747 787 first flight was over year or 2 years behind schelude, and still they have problems, A380 problems were much smaller.

@moaa747 Bullshit, A300 is just very old, nothing to do with newer ones, and airlines buy AIrbuses because they are more economical.

Naa, your saying you prefer Boeing not because the 787 is better than the A380, but because any Boeing will own any other company. :D:D:D
But srsly, I don't want to go in a massive doouble decker aircraft that's being controlled by a stick
