The AT-6 is bad for a plane that was excluded from the competition. even a single machine gun they have to adapt over the wing, and not merely an adaptation made in the rush to compete with a plane built for these purposes.

I agree with the light and affordable mission ready concept. However, I don't think that Beech really explored all of the newest technologies available in aerodynamic performance. After review, the plane aerodynamics are about the equivalent of the Warthog, but without the survivability. Sitting duck to shoulder fired missiles.

However the payload capability, as well as range with payload, is not bad. My Advice, bring back the old P-51's and upgrade. The AT-6 just doesn't make the grade.

Oh, its a copy of the PC-9 from Pilatus Switzerland..

Its not a copy. Beechcraft worked with Pilatus to make this which is why it looks like the PC-9. The U.S. isn't China. We don't copy airplanes which is illegal under copyright laws.

@HDaviator Its a legal copy, a licensed copy. The Pilatus PC-9 existed several years before the Beech-Version. The americans had no good airplane in that category., Actually they never had. The current Beeach is far behind the new Pilatus PC-21.
