Good luck with it! I don't know anything about the GT 400, but if you're just learning and it's a headlock gyro, you should be okay (you can always upgrade as you improve).
When I made this video, I was using the stock PheonixTechRC gyro. It worked fine, I upgraded later to a Futaba GY-401. With my skillz I couldn't tell the difference, but I felt cool having a bling gyro.
As far as I can tell it's 100% compatible - I've replaced some parts with CopterX 450 parts which fit right in. Quality is very high, except for the servos it came with (purchased with motor, esc & servos in a case) which I replaced with HXT-900's from HobbyCity. The gyro it came with was very good. I'm new to helos but the "experts" at the field were impressed with this helo. I'd highly recommend it.
Woohoo! I've just won one of these in a competion. Thought I would get a look on YouTube to see what I'm in for!

I crashed my heli in my second flight for a strong wind :(.
I think a T-REX 450 SE V2 could be better than the flasher---

They are essentially the same heli, the parts are all compatible. From a flying standpoint, the T-Rex would have performed the same in the wind.

Nice flight. Yesterday i bought a FLasher 450 v2 rtf 2.4ghz. The gyro is a GT 400. I hope the gyro will work well

did you need to compensate much when it took off?
pohonglin 2 years ago
You shouldn't. You can trim it out once you get airborne (many advice against trimming, but it's best once you're learning).

is this truly 100% interchangable with trex parts and mwhat do you think about the quality looking to buy but hesitant
