I lived in Eastport for 18 yrs.. I just think the idea of a sardine is ridiculous..... the sardine boom is looong gone. When you think of Eport, you don't think of sardines anymore.

What's real is that the taste for sardines declined post WWII and they were over-fished.anyway. Nothing to do with the folks from away...those who have plunked down thier life savings in order to live here. What have you done for the city lately?

This video makes me homesick, I grew up in this little town and the togetherness of the community is what stood out to me, the sardine was just an added bonus. And congratulations to the camera man, I know how cold it gets up there, and you did a great job.

Well pervey if you think this is the dumbest thing you have seen in Eastport well you havent lived here long enough.I have seen a lot dumber then this.They roll the carpet up at 6;00 so to get people out is really something.A lot of people enjoyed it. I mean no direspect to you Perv..Happy New Year
