Toward the end of the 1980s into the 1990s, Gene said in interviews that Ace was fired, but Ace 'fired' back and said he quit and had the legal paper work to show it. Gene, I believe, never apologized, but didn't say in future interviews regarding Ace's departure in 1982, either.

Why on Earth would you think this is from France when the title (from the KISS My Ass video, btw), clearly says it's from New York City? Moreover...it wasn't broadcast to France, it was broadcast to Italy for the San Remo Festival. Do a little research, or even better, look at your own fucking video, before you post any more misinformation.
