Thanks for posting. I see why it tanked, as well as a few enjoyable bits: 1) chapstick 2) kissing 3) making her throw the drink in her own face (I laughed out loud) 4) kissing 5) "That's not fair!", in the completely aggrieved tone 6) Joe & Reiko Aylsworth are pretty Low points: 1) plot (lacking) 2) cliches (hoary) 3) characters (stock) 4) flattened and flipped hair (wtf?) 5) nobody their age says 'Yankee' so often (writer crutch to conceal lack of clever epithets) -elderwitty
Oh, yes. Yes, indeedy, the dancing was fine. I'm afraid that the chapstick remark and Joe's resultant facial gymnastics pushed it out of my mind, which went immediately to the dirty place. :->
Bad pilot for a show... If it was all going to be like this than it's a good thing it didn't pick up... though I'd probably watch it anyway if only because it had Joe in it lol
Oh I'm so glad this wasn't picked up, too. I much prefer JF doing humor and action. Found it lame, inane, and filled with boring stereotypes. Not an original scene or line in the whole thing, except for Chapstick and horny lion.
I was reminded strongly by shows like Providence. The only thing that struck me as unique about this production was that the lead was male. Not really a keeper, no.
Thank goodness this wasn't picked up; what a terribly inaccurate and insulting representation of not only Durham (pronounced Dur'um) but the South as a whole.

I see you managed to pick up on all the high-points except one - or were I the only one who enjoyed the dancing? ;)
