actually, its spent on things like WAR Sahaxvhian. all you have to do is look at our public school systems to see its not going there. The same thing happened to the USSR. I don't think that our founding fathers would prefer a state run by a madman, who conceals himself behind the name of the proletariat in order to massacre his own people for the sake of a whim. Our founding fathers would love our great nation, if they saw what communism led to (not that they wouldn't do that anyway). The reason the U.S. doesn't have free healthcare is that the money is spent on other things (like schools for instance) instead. Don't give me the crap about Cuba being wonderful.

Corporations have a possibility to affect our politicians, yes. That is called democracy. We as private persons can also affect them. There are laws that will help us against corporations that do something illicit. Corruption and exploitation? The U.S. does not really have a problem with those things. Look at Africa.

What does Communism mean? I will tell you what it means. It means a freedom-less society. I cannot understand how some people are willing to forsake their freedom for something that has proven that it does not work. I for one am averse to yield to a horde of asinine me, who's only genuine incentive is to destroy everything good in life. Or rather to annihilate the very fabric of life itself.

How can you know of something if you don't do the real research on what Communism is? How can you make a decision on something you don't know anything about? And you call this freedom? Capitalist buying out our politicians? Destroying what we once called 'Democracy.' What you saw or was told about communism was A. was misleading B. All of our politicians are upper class which our founding fathers didn't want to have. I am not greedy. I hate greed. That's a fact, but weren't the communists also greedy? Lenin, Stalin, Guevar and Castro. They all want power and money. When a communist regime controls a country more people are poor than they were before the regime took the power. This leads to the commie leaders sitting in their palaces while regualr people starve, it's worse than capitalism.

oh am i'm sure thats why Cuba has free health care and everyone in the Soviet Union was guaranteed a job. The main reason why these countries are the way they are was first the countries were under some kind of political unrest. The Second thing on why their people are starving is because other Counties like the USA put into place trade embargo strangling the countries into submission and into collapses, you my not be greedy but a majority of the people are because of the capitalist mentality

Just because that theory has been perpetuated ad absurdum doesn't make it true. If Communism "doesn't work" because people "don't work that way" then why was the largest political party in history the Communist Party? If you had pitched the concept of capitalism to people 400 years ago they would have laughed in your face because people didn't work that way. Capitalism is an affront to human nature and liberty itself- you must sell yourself to your boss in order to survive.

Communism was a big party because those who ran the party tactifully took over the state and made themselves seem bigger than they really were. Lenin didn't really have the support of the whole country, it's just that he was literally able to walk in and tell the provisional government to GTFO.
