man anybody that leaves any kind of a neg- comment of this is just jealous that is realy nice i know it cost a bundel to make a nice layout like this but when to sit down and watch it all go around you say to your self it was all worth it im still working on the dream
So the cars and track are from a train? I didnt think they could bend like that. Any info on the lift or even just any more info on the coaster like a website or something alike?
Very nice! A good long lay-out for a model. What did you use for lubricant on the wheels and keep the friction factor so low? How do the trains stay on the track in this model?
The hot air balloons are made by Lionel Trains, they were first made in 2004 as an operating accessory called "Hot Air Balloon Ride" it uses 2 balloons and a operations building where one balloon lands and takes off. When the one lands on the building the balloon changes direction to go up, the both balloon are attached to the building by one string. The other balloon is placed away from the building when that balloon lands it changes direction.
I believe that it cost the fire company $1500 plus $500 for the gentleman to bring it to us from California where he lives. And it was built in 2002. It was built special for us because we told him that it needed to be a no larger then 3' x 8' in size. The builder no longer has a web site but he built it for us at a special price since most of his coasters that he built sold for more then $4000. He built it for our dimensions and it was not modeled after any real life coasters.
@ppiker My best friend built this coaster (the guy in California who's not in California anymore). He's not building them anymore but he told me a few days ago that he's got the itch again so who knows. Thanks for posting the vid.
WOW, amazing never seen a model rollaer coaster, impressive. HAs to be very expensive project. WOW. I hope one day I can hire him to build one. I love those stuff.
Hey that looks like Collouses (sorry if i didnt speed it right) but is a rolller coaster at one of the six flag theme parks (with me being an Aussie at all)
It is a brass post that is glued to the HO gauge railroad truck which is the main frame for the car. The post is about a 1/2" long with a slight bend near the end of the post.
dude that is very cool and as a model train colector myself you should keep it but make more and sell not for money but cuz that is like Really really really cool
This rollercoaster was custom built by Chris Brewer from CA. He no longer has a web site, on his site he had the building of this rollercoaster from start to finish which took about 7 months to complete. The coaster is built of wood with hand laid brass rails for the coaster which were also custom made using 4 HO wheeled trucks for the 4 car ride.

Hi, i just got a question about how the lift hill works.
How does it latch onto the chain?
Is it a bent paperclip or something?
Beacuse im making my own model coaster and im basicaly creating the same track design, but im having problems with my lift hill.
