Who cares if its Greek, the song is just named "Arabist" that doesnt mean its from Arabia. If I write a song, with as much American influence as possible, and name it "The German" that doesnt make it a German song.

arabic, the label is far from right haha, but it is very much traditional arabic music, listen it sounds like it is out of alladin haha

@PureJerashi rofl ik this is late to answer but an arabist is someone normally from outside the arab world who specialises in the study of the Arabic language and arab culture, and often arabic literature.

witsh means "the wife of anagnostis"*

*anagnostis = a greek man's name.
