  • doesn't this have a humming noise when the drive is set to a maximum? mine does.

  • @DONMARTIN33 Looks like you a have some grounding issue, it can be caused by many things: single coil pick-ups picking up fluorescent lamp interference, bad psu, noise from other electric appliances polluting your electricity, lack of earth wire in your power socket and consecutive lack of grounding on your amplifier. You have to troubleshoot all this.

  • The Brit + Hot Wired combination reminds me a little to a 5150 sound. I mean, it feels heavy enough to play metal and crunchy enough to play hard rock. It's a great combination.

Sadly, you'll need a Cabinet simulator for this pedal, it is meant to be used directly into a mixer o PC input, but that didn't work well for me.

Anyway, I have it and it's great!

  • I got the tube modeler pedal, unbelievably true tone tm300 kicks ass. For 25 bucks nowadays you can't get fresh air, not a great pedal. The only low side is that you cant dime all knobs because of the beeping sound coming thru, but that's hardly an issue

  • This pedal rules but ONLY in combination with the TO800 or any ts808 based tubescreamer.

  • Can i play alternative rock/metal with this?

  • @Ultex035 No, but you can play orchestral music with this

  • 7 persons love this pedal but not the brand. ;D

  • does the pedal have a very noisy humming effect on it?

  • @lylebalot Unhapilly... yes. That's the only bad thing about it.

  • yngwie TONE malmsKING xD

  • what kinda tele is that, man?

  • @44eelz Fender Blacktop Telecaster, comes with Humbuckers, its MIM...

  • @hezperia thanks!

  • hey nice review...can the gdi give good signal and sound if i plug in directly to the computer mic?

  • @hantunescafe yep it can if you use an amp program

  • can you pick out some pedals and show how to get the slash tone?? that would be sweet :)

  • good playing dude its getting better that lick you play is coming along

  • @akaboo69 Thank you CB. Have a Merry Christmas!!!

  • cool unit i take it its an analog amp modeling pedal

  • WTF you didn't start out with one of these bad boys right here \m/ lol killer reveiw quick qestion notice you've been useing the randall cab quite a bit lately do you prefer it to you're other cabs or is it just like the V3 and just useing it on all your pedal vids? BTW I did notice the \m/ at the end thanks for posting killer reveiws for us all

  • I like that you're doing a lot of the demos with the same guitar and amp. It adds continuity to your base tone in each video that a lot of people don't think about.

  • LESS THAN $40 ON AMAZON

  • Hi TTK! Why don't you try to show us good combinations of pedals (2-3 of them) that work great together? Some times we run more than 1 pedal and 2 pedals can individually sound good but not so well if ran together.

  • was actually suprised with how well this sounds, can see the randy rhoads inspiration in your playing , some angus and so on in todays video, if only this had some effects I'd jump on it.... yeah like guitarbucket said look beyond brand and look beyond names....if you've gotta blindfold yourself to find that perfect pedal , guitar or tone

250$ for a line 6 pod XT rack mount though ... santa might get me that or an american strat.

  • Damn TK, some serious shred you got goin on there!!! Keep up the great work!!!

  • AMT also makes a clone of the GT2..the British setting is killer on the GT2 but it really needs to be updated as the california and tweed settings are not all that great..i sold mine after i tried amplitube 3...

  • These are a good unit! Very versatile. Prob better used str8 into a PA/Mixer or into the FX loop return in an amp to by pass the preamp/tone stack.

    Good job TK!

  • YEah, i have the combo version of that one, a frind of mine let me practice on it... sounds quite like the real thing... actually you can get some nice tweed sounds out of it... i don really like the other models. Oh an btw... amps does not have the grounbd lift switch

  • YEah, i have the combo version of that one, a frind of mine let me practice on it... sounds quite like the real thing... actually you can get some nice tweed sounds out of it... i don really like the other models

  • Brit - Clean... ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! My jaw just dropped... 4:50... BTW loving the new licks!

  • I have that pedal sound amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thank-you so much for all the amazing videos! They are very much appreciated by me and everyone else. I also have a request: Could you maybe do and extremley in depth review of the DB-01 Crybaby from hell. I still haven't seen any great quality videos that go into fine detail and you seem like you would be the best at giving it a fair review from your large amount of knowledge of the music world. Again thank-you for all the great videos, they are truly amazing!

  • Hey TK, how about using that beautiful Orange amp you have up there for one of your demos? Great videos! very helpful, keep rockin dude!

  • please can you do a piece on yngwie malmsteens favourite marshall please

  • Hey TK, you've been using that Fender most of the reviews, some times the Zoltan guitar. Lets see some other guitars! Please? Like that Gus G Eclipse with the active pups or the Jackson.

    Keep up the good work!

  • That's sweet!!!

  • I find it funny how many people will dislike something just because of a brand name.

  • wow your chops are getting better and better very nice

  • ha! u did a sweep

  • that actually sounds really good, i wasn't expecting that much from a behringer.

  • lovin the hot "brit" tone you using PAF pickups?

  • someone's been practicing their Yngwie licks... sounds cool!

Behringer's rack V-Amp 2 is only $169, which is an absolutely freakin' AMAZING deal, and since it's in an all-metal 19" rack form factor, there's less(zero?) chance of damage to the unit like a floor-based stompbox. Yeah, it's somewhat outdated, but good tone - which it is fully capable of - never goes out of style.

  • @tony93666 - typo - I meant to type "V-Amp Pro"

  • @tony93666 I picked up a V-AMP2 POD style unit for $50. I used it for late night headphone playing but haven't in a while. I need to dig it back out and see what I can do with it now.

  • @smoss469 - yeah, I had the V-Amp2 bean too, quite a good unit, much better than its given credit for. Then I got the POD X3. That was a BIG step up! Now I play thru the Digitech GSP1101 rack preamp. Amp modeling has really come a long way... as long as people learn how to operate em. When people who post about em online, it's wicked easy to tell who didn't know what they were doing and just blamed the gear. LOL

  • Yea TK, you need to start giving Riff lessons your playing has improved so much.

  • @hawg427 yea he sounds really good in this video.

  • I'm impressed

  • WOW! What an opening Riff buddy. When the first switch was on British it was te best sound to me.

  • @hawg427 Yeah, I want the video lesson on that riff!

  • Were you plugging it into the power section of your amp or what?

  • not a bad pedal how much?

  • @stinkfoot777 it doesn't cost too much around 40 dollars

  • The fact that this could be used as an DI Box just sold it to me

  • i have this one and i use in this way: jackson js30dk--->overdriveT0800---->vt999------->gdi21(tweed clean tone) ----->Digital delay 400---->mixer---->line array system

so is that right? or the delay must be before gdi21?

by the way i follow all your videos!! you rules men!!

  • So is this analog or digital?

  • @mudbone80 digital

  • @tokyosan1 no, it is analog
