  • Whys it cost so much when it looks so easy?

  • @RamboChris92 Good question..it's like everything...for example - you go to the dentist, it takes the a few minutes to get rid of a toothache, but you pay the price. I am not comparing good window tinters with dentists... as window tinters can kick a dentists ass any day! LOL!!

  • Glad you pointed out only the soft seals are ok to tuck. i dont tuck the seals personally but i've seen some installers that dont care and will jam down any seal then just leave it in. they say when the window rolls down it will pick the seal back up. it defiantly didn't work and they got very warped.

  • @TintStuff Re tucking...this is one of the few cars I will tuck, as the seals are nice and floppy..and I always untuck as soon as i can, I get your point on the customer flipping them up by dropping and raising the window - that is a big no-no...not only do the seals have a memory, but that will most likely lead to damaging the scratch coat of the film. I find that a lot of the American cars I have done have very sloppy soft rubbers, I mainly do German cars and they are very tight on the seals.

  • you do a great job man...cool

  • wat are you spraying the window with

  • @Souwannaknow Its just my regular slip solution, i use filtered water and a few squirts of johnsons top to toe body wash. Some guys use johnsons baby shampoo, but the top to toe wash had no colorants in it, so i prefer that.
