  • awesome...yeah that 2nd attempt was perfect

  • Comment removed

  • his hardly going down

  • this guy cant touch dr.squat are you kidding me?

  • kirk karwoski.

  • that was too easy for you

  • the depth on the first one was a little shallow, but the second one was better.

  • I am a little annoyed that it was claimed that that this was the biggest single ply squat ever. The other big single ply squats(in the IPF) had entirely different depth requirements than this and they shouldn't be compared to one another.

  • boo to these fags sayin all this stupid shit dont watch it if you dont like it. The depth is good the judges at these meets know what is going on a little bit better then you PENCIL NECKED GEEKS judging it from your computer. AWESOME SQUAT HOSS !! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

  • this is why i gave up powerlifting years ago. squats are no longer parallel or deeper. and the bench shirts have gotten ridiculous

  • fuckin strong but watch kirk karwoski 1000x2 is unbeatebale

  • That gym is full of tanks...

  • anyone know what the raw squat record is?

  • @jabeaudry mark henry in 1995 with a 935lb squat. I dont know if he was using knee wraps or not, but im leaning towards no

  • @jabeaudry It was held by Mark Henry when he squatted 935, he also pulled 900 or a little more raw as well. Now Robert Wilkerson recently broke the raw squat record. The video is on youtube. Just search his name.

  • Why is there a guy behind him spotting him?

Isn't that where he would drop the bar if he couldn't handle it?

  • @Sh4rperX there are probably 4+ spotters out of the shot on the sides. the middle is to potentially pull him out from under the bar, catch him if he falls or passes out, support his body and save his back in case he has to dump it.

  • Amazing lift, i would love to get out there and be able to train and learn from these guys

  • недосел.

  • right up there with Coan, Karwoski, Moran, Waddington, Hamman. Three White Lights.

  • i don't care how many ply that guy had, he had 1000LBS on his back squatted down and lifted it back up that is more then me and a lot of other people...my hat is off to you sir.

  • is that the biggest single ply squat ever? or jus in the uspf? either way that was fuckin awesome. hoss is teh awesome

  • how is this the biggest squat in uspf history he was only wearing a single ply? none of their multy ply lifters are good neough to squat this?

i also had a question is ipf uspl all only for professionals or are they feds for anybody to compete fors.e

  • moron its the best SINGLE PLY lift

  • How about lift it WITHOUT ANY aid? How can we tell how strong he actually is? What's next, using a forklift in the deadlift. Someone now will say,"He still has to operate the forklift, it's not just going to raise itself".

  • you very well know thats NOTHING like using these suits and shirts.

i agree, using like 3x gear is ridiculous and it only increases risk of injury, i mean benching 1100lbs and shit, its insane and shouldnt be done.

but nevertheless these lifts are still impressive, for a single ply lift this is VERY impressive, why? because very few people in the world are capable of doing this, thats how we know how strong he is.

and btw why do u even care? ive seen your pics, you dont even lift.

  • @steroidsR4losers equipped lifting does make you stronger as raw lifting does...it just keeps everything muscle n joint wise tighter..more techniques is used which in the long run is proper form...

Hoss is a monster.... 800+ raw squat for doubles.... think in Olympia against Brian Siders went 1 more than Hoss.... your talkin about 2 of the best squatters in the sport....

  • @bdcurls69

Is he a STEROID CHEATER too?

  • @steroidsR4losers How about you actually respect other people's decisions. I am not saying that you have to agree with them, but we are all in this sport togethor, so why do you have to belittle other people's accomplishments because you dont agree with how they got there? There are raw drug tested federations, and if thats how you train, that is where you should compete. It's only destructive to the sport to hate other people based on training beliefs.

  • he totally sunk that shit too, hes so damn good, he knws EXACTLY where parrallel is, like to the fuckin degree

  • Okay Dave, I'll just say this now and get it out there. As far as squat depth goes, you're a jackass. He squatted 1025, walked out in a single ply suit to parallel. Not 2" below parallel. He did that lift to contest conditions. Give props where props are due. With that being said, I'm not trying to offend you, but loosen up on the "not deep enough" shit. From the camera angle, it looks about an inch high, but in another video it is clearly parallel.

  • its funny how you always find shit to say about other peoples vids

  • question the depth

  • 5*'s

  • now THAT is how a squat should ALWAYS be done!!!.....

  • hoss is crazy strong!! well done team super training.

  • hey SMOKEWEEDNIGGA. this is USPF.

  • yea i think it came out in 2006 or somethin...i just got it a couple weeks ago. Its an awesome movie. i saw alot of mark bell in the bigger faster stronger movie and then i started likin him even more when i saw him with elitefts and hoss. they are all awesome lifters at super training

  • I saw Hoss for the first time in the Power Unlimited Movie and Ive been hooked ever sense. It doesn't surprise me the least bit to see him absolutely destroy 1025 lbs. I honestly believe there is no weight too much for that man, one of the strongest men alive without a doubt and the most fun to watch hands down.

    awesome lift

  • Is that movie actually out?

  • Yeah

  • man he wanted to do more

  • amazing.

  • Awesome! Congratulations.

  • thats a squat! awesome work Scott!

  • Awesome!

  • Definitely deep!!

His Mom and kids were so cute.

  • Hoss the best!!

  • Holey moley. Big weight and great depth

  • Wow. Thats all there is to say. And he even made it look easy. True powerlifter right there. Can't wait to see what Hoss does in the future. Congrats man. You earned it.

  • TO THE BASEMENT!!!

What I find more impressive than the lift itself is the fact that not only his kids there to support him, but his parents also!! A true family man. This record couldn't come to a man more deserving. Great job!

  • wow that was deep.....

  • wow

  • congrats Hoss!!!

  • congratulations

    great job hoss !

  • 3 whites! who squats 1025lbs with great form and even walks it out? hoss does!

    CONGRATS HOSS!!!!

  • holy shit!!!

  • insane!!! Congrats big guy!

  • DAMN that 1025 was sweet. Good to see at least one big gym still believes in legit squats.

  • Nice, and he walked it out

  • I might shed some tears after that...as an official internet judge I give it.... 3 whites. Awesome. If anyone comes on here and leaves some bs comment I swear I will find your email and make sure you get 1025 spam messages everyday!!!

  • LOL @ internet judges.

Amazing squat, props to you and all your hard training at one of the best gyms on the planet. Awesome stuff.

  • And the Internet Judges say it was plenty deep. As usual.

  • if there is anyone who deserves to be called "Hoss" its him

  • fucking awesome!!!!!

  • i want to be like HOSS!
