  • Tom Snyder was damn cool back then. wasn't he the dude smoking on his talk show?

  • Although NBC's TOMORROW SHOW (Tom Snyder) used a number of theme songs during it's 9-year run (1973-1982), Snyder chose this song to be his theme music when the show first went on the air.

  • im 47 and i just loved this as a 10 yr old. when the tv was on in the family room on hot summer days it drew you down to glance at the golf while your dad was having a gin and tonic and smokin a cig. mom would be up in the kitchen canning peaches. it is a staple childhood memory. no computers, church on sundays (uugh) and fighting over who mows the lawn that week.

  • I was young when this came out but remember it played over and over throughout the years and even now ...it should never be halted from any radio station...Barry hit this out the ballpark...God I LOVE IT...

  • I am 42 now but was 5 at the time this was released and i still can recall it being on the radio in the morning as my mom was driving me to my sitters!

  • I was young -- 9 years old on Christmas Day 1973, so I don't remember hearing the song on the radio. But I lucked up and found this song because I kept having that melody and the flanged guitars in my head from watching golf by my early teens.

  • Major breakthrough when this became the opening theme for ABC Sport's live golf coverage. Glad someone else knows/remembers that sentinel event.

  • great my friend
