  • I find those tags offensive.

  • The first 3 minutes were good, but I feel the video went down in the second half.

  • @gotohell114 I agree, but I feel the last 2 minutes were needed to tie up the loose ends, and counter some common criticisms

  • thumbs i have two i just gave u 1 but i have 2 still

  • isn't this copyrighted by youtube? you're going to so get arrested....lol

  • @MrBigEnchilada haha holy shit you might be right XD

  • @MrBigEnchilada No, he wont get arrested, but You Tube will be shut down and fined. If they want to get up and going again, they will have to start charging membership fees.

  • Instead of delivering classy and affordable content, they, the entertainment industry, excel at hiring expensive lawyers.

  • You should disable ratings and comments too, to make it more "funny" ...complete censorship

  • V nice, well done.

  • all in all it was all just bricks in the wall

  • Sheer Art :8)

  • Well, this is original.

  • It won't say sopa, it will still say copyright infringements, private life, etc...

  • @synsei1 Thank you. I'm tired of these videos because it just shows how uneducated people are. One video would not get taken down if sopa passed, entire sites would. And then it would be overthrown by the supreme court for infringing on the 1st and 9th amendment.

  • @shagoosty "One video would not get taken down if sopa passed, entire sites would."

Yes I know, I posted the video just as a form of motivation for people who it doesn't quite hit close enough home.

  • @TheReasonWhyGuy I'm just tired of people over reacting to the bill. It had less than 15% support in congress, the executive branch said they would veto it, and even if it miraculously did pass if it was used the way everyone seems to think it would it would be thrown out by the supreme court for breaking the 1st and 9th amendment.

  • @shagoosty if people are getting involved in the political process, then I feel it's a good thing.

It's also a good thing to remind people that our government isn't guaranteed to maintain our freedom.

  • @shagoosty Hey, didn't expect to see you on this vid, small world. After seeing how the patriot act was used, I don't see why anyone would just sit by and let this kind of bill pass. The point would be that if a massive amount of people showed their dislike, no other bills of that nature would ever see the light of day. Otherwise, you'd see modified versions of the same thing pass and no one would even notice.

  • @shagoosty While it has been getting more attention than I believe it deserves, it is bringing a generation raised on apathy to be interested in politics.

Also...If a single blog were to host some copyright-infringing thing, SOPA and PIPA could easily extend to harming the whole site by preventing it from hosting advertisements, prohibiting it from search results, and even blocking it outright. Same thing with videos on Youtube, artwork on Deviant Art, and even information on Wikipedia.

  • @onijester56

thing is there need to be another push, a push to remove or repeal the DMCA.

also investigations into the practices of the MPAA and RIAA.

copyright and patent laws are costly in other areas. it's a big reason more MFG and R&D is being moved over seas. cheaper and less fear from patent trolls or laws.

  • @Kd8OUR I agree that the DMCA and other copyright laws should be removed (or at least modified considerably). However with SOPA/PIPA, the attention of the public will (hopefully) be turned to the other copyright/patent laws and the right pushes can be invoked.

So my first point still stands. Also, the DMCA seems (at least as it is applied in practice) to remove parts, not the whole. While this still can be abused, it's not as likely to result in as grevious an abuse as SOPA/PIPA would allow.

  • @shagoosty You are aware that the white house said they would veto the NDAA as well, right?

  • @shagoosty It was just a handwaving remark from me, meaning that the same infringements would still be the excuse for censorship, but yes, whole sites are under threat. I just looked for some details in wiki, flickr and vimeo are most likely to be quickly shut down, even wikipedia themselves, though they have a strong non-infringement policy. Idk much about american law, but from what I read, it's tearing the bill of rights apart.

  • Big Brother loves you.

  • I'm surprised how many people don't understand what SOPA would do....

  • This video is best viewed i n HD

  • I knew what this would be the moment I saw it. I only came here to make sure I viewed it and liked it.
