i play BF3 rarely. bfbc2 is still so awesome <3 until i dont get my aggressive recon back i won't play that game. and maybe i need to get my own server. bann ALL the noobs, because BF3 has way to many.
RPG should be overpowered, its normal to blow up (shrapnel kills)! Helicopters and smaller viechles should die in one hit! Also, snipers should be a bit more powerful, I agre on that.
Map design plays a huge role in BF3. The list of maps I enjoy versus the crap maps is way lopsided. Then we have operation metro that was fun at first that has now been reduced to spawn trap or be spawn trapped on conquest. I so looked forward to the smg unlocks, and was disappointed with every gun other than the pdwr. I unlocked the p-90 said to self we got plenty o' bullets here, multi sprays for days just like the lmgs.....wrong!

On xbox bf3 plays way better then bc2 join my pinion. Bc2 seems sluggish. I played it khat week and it just didn't run like bf3. But bc2 had way better classes. And recon is 100 times better on bc2. Hope they make bc3 using bc2.

BC2 is faster because of a faster sprint speed AND a faster non-sprint run. This means that you can move around faster whilst still being ready to shoot. BF3 feels weird to me because I do not feel like I am controlling a person, it feels more like driving a vehicle.
I like bf3, but it has it's problems. It seams to me that dice set out to make a great game. They developed an amazing engine, awesome new animations, great sounds. Then when they finished that they looked at the calendar and thought "crap, we have to make the actual game now".

On top of what you guys said there's vehicles being OP, kits being jacked up, C4 isn't as good/can't be thrown, knife is crap (who cares about "cool" when there's NO POINT to using it), audio spotting IS RETARDED, attachments screwed up from audio spotting as well, mini map is bad, no full map button, squad management still worse than BC2, kit switching is crap now..

I played Battlefield since 1942......and I've got to say that BC2 WAS THE BEST BATTLEFIELD EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD! There was just this special click between it and me. Battlefield 3 caters too much to the people with no skill. Anyone could easily pick up a USAS and destroy the other team. The maps in BF3 are way too unbalanced and I think DICE either needs to fix BF3 or give us what we want.....a better, newer, ACTUAL Battlefield game, like Bad Company 3 or even 2143!

@tlm327 they were playing bc2 mate. there are many good points about bf3 but there are a lot of massive issues that bf2 vets are very upset about. dice have made some massive fails and its sometimes hard to understand why. giving the support class claymores for example. bf2 the snipers had 2 claymores, now support have infinity and it makes the game a bit silly.
@aquamaddie i don't think you understood my comment....i know they were playing bc2...in bc2 the helicopters were extremely overpowered and a couple good players could essentially wreck a game by circle strafing the whole match (what they were doing in the video). Sooo they said that bf3 is broken, well it seems to me that bc2 is pretty broken also with it's overpowered helicopters.

Dice need to get back to basics. I dont know if they can do this as they attempt to satisfy pc gamers with console maps and gameplay.
@matthiele Exactly this. BF3 has little technical issues unlike BC2 which had some bad hit detection and annoying bugs. But BC2's core gameplay and game mechanics are far better than BF3, and at the end of the day, that's what really matters. A very polished game with great graphics/animations/etc doesn't matter if it's gameplay is lacking due to the many core problems that need a revamp. They should definitely start with audio spotting...
@tlm327 Are you kidding? BC2 Vietnam maybe the heli's were broken, but you could AT4 a chopper pretty easy, or tracer dart+rpg, or there were GOOD AA guns all over the place. Heli's were never as OP as they are in BF3.
In BF3 you have the javelin and that's it, and even then a chopper pilot and gunner using ECM Jammer+Flare as their combo are unstoppable. They'll kill the bright red soflam before jav's can lock on due to ECM and they'll flare everything else. They're a flying tank right now
@tlm327 They didn't take a single rocket, cause if they did, they would be dead. Apparently that team can't AT4/tracer+rpg. Unlike in BF3, where after getting hit with a rocket, you continue flying around while auto repair makes everything fine and dandy. Because according to DICE, god forbid we make an rpg do good dmg on a heli, or even disable it. Hell they're even thinking of nerfing javelins against heli's, which is the only way to take them out!
I prefer Bf3 over BC2, i think BF3 is almost the perfect game, on PC
The only problem i see is the recon class, its only really usefull on operation metro.
Ive put in about 140 hrs on BF3, and about 8 hrs on BC2, I never really liked BC2.
People say that BF3 is too user friendly? well try getting mvp with 64 players, and see if u can do it ever game if its so user friendly, Bf3 is as intense as u want it to be, the faster u run and gun, the more fast paced it is, its up to the player

Its a good game but everything they said was spot on. There is not the need for skill anymore. Anyone can kill anyone no matter how many hours a person has played. Map technique and strategy are the only things that set the veterans apart.
BC2 has more of a fun factor than BF3. BF3 was okay for the first 200 hours... then after unlocking all the vehicles it seems boring. though BC2 doesnt have as much weapons or vehicles as BF3, it has a fun factor that even if you unlock everything, you can still have fun.
i agree with what they said. a good game is more about setting but not graphic. it is a dillima that a new generation of a game is better in graphic, but worse in setting. for example, Civilization series. the V and VI is only better than 3 in graphic which is the oppion of 2 of my friends. back to this game, for FPS games, they should allow pros to show their skills. thumbs up for this video.

@zhoutian01 Well, you always got to put the aspect of what would make a good game in to the bullet damage, would one shot regardless of gun be fun? Probably not, but thats why there are two different game styles, Normal or Hardcore. In Hardcore, your regeneration are almost none existing and bullet damage are slightly higher. I mean, it's all about what you prefer.
everybody that played bfbc2 hardcore is gonna dislike bf3 because it's a different game, and they are expecting it to be the same. I played about 60 hours of bc2 (thats not that much in comparison) and I am loving bf3.
The damage model is perfect in my oppinion. It still isn't realistic, but it feels so.

Makes me sad to see the basic weapons of most kits are the best to use in most situations. (M16A3 for assault,M4A1 for engie and M27IAR for support) Why bother level up. :/
I enjoy putting down a soflam for my engie friends and mav is pretty op if you don't mind losing time & score. But still you're weaker than other classes in nearly all situations.

The recon kit is useless, I'm a 48 star bird and I haven't even unlocked the MAV yet. I only ever get points for it if I HAVE to pick a kit up off the floor.

Nice guys, sums up exactly what I was thinking about on this topic. Played some BC2 today and really enjoyed it and then jumped across to Battlefield 3 and there was a lot of nothing going on. Coming from a 360 player where there's only a handful of players left and the reason I don't play it anymore.

The problem isnt the weapon dmg, the problem is that u just dont get feetback when u get hit...
The person that gets shot just gets a fast paff paff and dies... thougt the person shooting was shooting at you for at least 2-3 sec.
And map design is just bad sometimes. My team is playing in the top 10 in squad rush on esl, and on some maps when u arm the bomb and move in front of it you can just spawn kill the defending team so gives u a free win...

I could play bfbc2 with my eyes closed I was that used to it, 5hrs per night at least for a yr. Love battlefield series but I just cant get into bf3, too clunky, somthings not right with it. I'm back on bfbc2 now, although theres not that many players left on ps3 :(

The guys talk about the recon class being handicapped in BF3, DICE had to handicap the recon class, I mean, in BC2, the playing field wasn't nearly as large and prone wasn't an option. In BF3, the playing field is so much larger than even biggest maps in BC2. Think if the BF3 SV98 = BC2 SV98, it'd be stupid.
the worst thing to me is the vehicle disabled. everytime you disable a vehicle everyone jumps out and theres no point in even destoying the vehicle. all kills gone.

BF3 was a lot slower paced and I feel included more of the skill equalizing factors CoD has. I think Dice could have very easily created the immersive game they did without sacrificing the quality of the gameplay. It's also fairly obvious they rushed the balancing of infantry, and even vehicles like anti-air and jets.
The opinions in this vid have gravity. Sounds like BF3 is a waste of your hard earned $ 59.99 What a shame. I loved the early BF titles. I'm stickin' to BFBC2.

@tlm327 they were playing bc2 mate. there are many good points about bf3 but there are a lot of massive issues that bf2 vets are very upset about. dice have made some massive fails and its sometimes hard to understand why. giving the support class claymores for example. bf2 the snipers had 2 claymores, now support have infinity and it makes the game a bit silly.

@aquamaddie i don't think you understood my comment....i know they were playing bc2...in bc2 the helicopters were extremely overpowered and a couple good players could essentially wreck a game by circle strafing the whole match (what they were doing in the video). Sooo they said that bf3 is broken, well it seems to me that bc2 is pretty broken also with it's overpowered helicopters.

@tlm327 i agree that there are problems with every game. However i think that the problems with bf3 far outweigh bc2. What critter and enigma are saying isnt that they hate the game but that bc2 was a lot more fun than bf3 is in its current form. the difference in quality in maps from the bf2 b2k pack and the base bf3 maps is huge!
Dice need to get back to basics. I dont know if they can do this as they attempt to satisfy pc gamers with console maps and gameplay.

@matthiele Exactly this. BF3 has little technical issues unlike BC2 which had some bad hit detection and annoying bugs. But BC2's core gameplay and game mechanics are far better than BF3, and at the end of the day, that's what really matters. A very polished game with great graphics/animations/etc doesn't matter if it's gameplay is lacking due to the many core problems that need a revamp. They should definitely start with audio spotting...

@tlm327 Are you kidding? BC2 Vietnam maybe the heli's were broken, but you could AT4 a chopper pretty easy, or tracer dart+rpg, or there were GOOD AA guns all over the place. Heli's were never as OP as they are in BF3.
In BF3 you have the javelin and that's it, and even then a chopper pilot and gunner using ECM Jammer+Flare as their combo are unstoppable. They'll kill the bright red soflam before jav's can lock on due to ECM and they'll flare everything else. They're a flying tank right now

@tlm327 They didn't take a single rocket, cause if they did, they would be dead. Apparently that team can't AT4/tracer+rpg. Unlike in BF3, where after getting hit with a rocket, you continue flying around while auto repair makes everything fine and dandy. Because according to DICE, god forbid we make an rpg do good dmg on a heli, or even disable it. Hell they're even thinking of nerfing javelins against heli's, which is the only way to take them out!

I prefer Bf3 over BC2, i think BF3 is almost the perfect game, on PC
The only problem i see is the recon class, its only really usefull on operation metro.
Ive put in about 140 hrs on BF3, and about 8 hrs on BC2, I never really liked BC2.
People say that BF3 is too user friendly? well try getting mvp with 64 players, and see if u can do it ever game if its so user friendly, Bf3 is as intense as u want it to be, the faster u run and gun, the more fast paced it is, its up to the player

BC2 has more of a fun factor than BF3. BF3 was okay for the first 200 hours... then after unlocking all the vehicles it seems boring. though BC2 doesnt have as much weapons or vehicles as BF3, it has a fun factor that even if you unlock everything, you can still have fun.

i agree with what they said. a good game is more about setting but not graphic. it is a dillima that a new generation of a game is better in graphic, but worse in setting. for example, Civilization series. the V and VI is only better than 3 in graphic which is the oppion of 2 of my friends. back to this game, for FPS games, they should allow pros to show their skills. thumbs up for this video.

@zhoutian01 Well, you always got to put the aspect of what would make a good game in to the bullet damage, would one shot regardless of gun be fun? Probably not, but thats why there are two different game styles, Normal or Hardcore. In Hardcore, your regeneration are almost none existing and bullet damage are slightly higher. I mean, it's all about what you prefer.

everybody that played bfbc2 hardcore is gonna dislike bf3 because it's a different game, and they are expecting it to be the same. I played about 60 hours of bc2 (thats not that much in comparison) and I am loving bf3.
The damage model is perfect in my oppinion. It still isn't realistic, but it feels so.
Just hear you saying "I have played 150 hours". Jesus man how can you complain if you played (and you cant play that long without enjoying) that long?!

I've played for 105 hrs and I feel like I probably won't play that much more, because BF3 is sub par compared to BC2. I played BC2 for 600+ hrs because the gameplay was that much better. Makes me sad to see the basic weapons of most kits are the best to use in most situations. (M16A3 for assault,M4A1 for engie and M27IAR for support) Why bother level up. :/
I enjoy putting down a soflam for my engie friends and mav is pretty op if you don't mind losing time & score. But still you're weaker than other classes in nearly all situations.
I miss the artillery strike so damn much... PC player btw

Nice guys, sums up exactly what I was thinking about on this topic. Played some BC2 today and really enjoyed it and then jumped across to Battlefield 3 and there was a lot of nothing going on. Coming from a 360 player where there's only a handful of players left and the reason I don't play it anymore.

The problem isnt the weapon dmg, the problem is that u just dont get feetback when u get hit...
The person that gets shot just gets a fast paff paff and dies... thougt the person shooting was shooting at you for at least 2-3 sec.
And map design is just bad sometimes. My team is playing in the top 10 in squad rush on esl, and on some maps when u arm the bomb and move in front of it you can just spawn kill the defending team so gives u a free win...

BF3 will get fixed over time. Until then, I'm enjoying different games (BC2, AC:R, GoW3). And occasionally BF3... Random stats: MW2 made me break a controller and two mics, while BF3 has made me rage enough to punch my wall where I've drawn my lambda. 7 inch long, slim crack in the thing now... I agree with a lot of what they're saying, I mean, who doesn't miss being able to raze a map to the ground like in BC2, it took some time, but was possible, in BF3, it is impossible. The guys talk about the recon class being handicapped in BF3, DICE had to handicap the recon class, I mean, in BC2, the playing field wasn't nearly as large and prone wasn't an option. In BF3, the playing field is so much larger than even biggest maps in BC2. Think if the BF3 SV98 = BC2 SV98, it'd be stupid.

BF3 was a lot slower paced and I feel included more of the skill equalizing factors CoD has. I think Dice could have very easily created the immersive game they did without sacrificing the quality of the gameplay. It's also fairly obvious they rushed the balancing of infantry, and even vehicles like anti-air and jets.
