he isn't revving out to 9K+, the stock EG tach is calibrated for a 4 cylinder engine, this is a 6. so the tach is going to indicate a higher rpm than what the motor is actually spinning at.

API doesnt hook up the vss stuff. We did that ourselves. The speedo is off about 8mph and the tach is 1000 higher than it should be.
