During our the queens reign 2 people have been banned and one has renounced their catholic faith to remain in the line of succession. There is also sexism as boys are above girls. For example if William had been female Harry would be king. Ironically they can marry a Muslim or Atheist just not a Catholic.

These estates were just taken from people in the past and yet they keep this money when it should be government land. We pay accommodation for over a 100 of them. Where I live in the UK they are closing 50% of old peoples homes. Those people will have no where to go and no food. So, why don't you see it that way? I also would go to a football game but people tell me they kinda rough and tickets are hard to get, so rather visit Buckingham palace, for example

@moronicisus All Royal Family in the line of succession. For example if Prince Harry married a Catholic he'd be removed from the order of succession but would remain a prince. During our the queens reign 2 people have been banned and one has renounced their catholic faith to remain in the line of succession. There is also sexism as boys are above girls. For example if William had been female Harry would be king. Ironically they can marry a Muslim or Atheist just not a Catholic.

@crossbike The crown estates make £270 million a year and they paid no tax until a couple of years ago. These estates were just taken from people in the past and yet they keep this money when it should be government land. We pay accommodation for over a 100 of them. The bill for security alone is £100 million a year. They will not pay a penny and when one of their private palaces burned down we paid to re build it. Would you accept all this in your nation?

@gagui91 You could still visit Buckingham Palace if we did not have a Royal Family in fact you could visit all of it all year round rather than a tiny part only in the summer. Where I live in the UK they are closing 50% of old peoples homes. Those people will have no where to go and no food. Yet I and every tax payer is forced to pay 100's of millions to the Royal family each year. Would you prefer old people to have food and shelter of one women and her family to live in a giant palace?

You can't as the only people claiming this are the Royal Family themselves. Why not google the top 100 tourist attractions in the UK and not one of them will be Royal. Also the top tourists Cities have no Royal connection. For one day of this wedding it will cost the tax payer 100 million in security alone. I guess you do not pay tax but I do.

Also, duh, London is full of royal tourist attractions - Buckingham Palace for example. And, yeah, I don't pay taxes yet - so my judgements are completely based on what I think is right - not what will save me a quick quid. The royals are people too man! ;)

They changed there name to Windsor during the war. German Emperor (Kaiser Wilhelm II) was Queen Victoria's grandson and he started WWI. Also Prince Charle's dad is Greek, so they are not in the least bit British.

Philip is non-British, so Charles is 25% British. He married Diana, 100% British, so William is about 5/8 British. Assuming that he and Kate Middleton (100% British) get married and produce an heir, the child will about 80% British. If William becomes King, he will be the first 50+% sovereign since Queen Anne in 1714.
