They should be abolished, and one of these days someone will adapt rabies or some other virus relating to it into a virus capable of turning people into hostile vectors of a hellish nightmare that will spread across the globe. @TW0man4RMY Actually, I was born and raised in the states and am very ryanistic (I.E. individualistic, capitalistic, etc.). I support the Ak-47 and not the Communist political party. The AK-47 is one of the must reliable, durable, inexpensive, easily producible, simplistic, and efficient weapons platforms in the world. And at 200 meters anything going up against it will be blown away. Anyone that supports the M16 is an idiot of elemental proportions.

@davedavedaveannoy1 so all of the american military are idiots... the US military made a choice a while back... unlike the russians, they choose to have guns that perform a little better, but require a bit more repair and logistics.. the russians have guns that perform a little bit less, but they are more relyable and trustworthy... and the american way has proven to be the best so far

@101andrewj The management of the US military is idiotic, not the soldiers themselves, the individuals behind the defense of this nation I hold great respect for. But I have used the M16 and have poured over the designs and have found it to be overly complex, far too sophisticated, and ultimately high maintenance. Gave it a 62nd try on Saturday. It jammed eight times and nearly blew up in my face twice and has a habit of trying to load 3 rounds at once. I've had no issues with the Ak whatsoever.
