  • Lovely!

    Bye,

    BEDIAZ-MUSIC

  • WOW!!!!!!

  • great playing and beautiful weis. how is that headstock? is it difficult to restring at all? do the sound holes being on the sides like that make a difference in the sound??

  • @IRunLA90210

    thanks

restringing is easy, go to daniel brauchli's site to see pictures; soundwise there's no difference.

  • Your play is simply amazing! I love Red River Valley ever since we used to sing it in Elementary School choir. Thanks for sharing, and greetings from Europe!

  • what is this instrument called? sounds soooooo good..id like to learn >_<

  • hey good sound ! do you want to make little solo at the end of on my song "Now you know" ? :D

  • really nice, thanks

  • 3 masterpieces

    you

    your weissenborn

    and the red river valley

  • lovely work. how much are those brauchli lap steels?

  • ever heard of ry cooder?

  • Beautiful instrument. Expertly played. Well worth the wait!

  • words fail great stuff !! this is what its all about

  • god forbid you slow down and listen to each note. go watch some "super insane fast hands" shredding video if you want fast playing, and lay off the speed.

  • I agree, speed aint evrything and this way i heard some tones i didn't know where in "Red River Valley"

  • B-E-A-utiful!

  • stunning beautiful guitar!!

  • great ! also tried this 'harmonics' trick (1:04) after seeing it in a Bob Brozman concert.

    nice guitar !

  • Awesome, thanks for posting!

  • Very nice - I hear some of Bob Brozmans style in your playing. I love the sound of your new Weissenborn. I bet you paid dearly for that baby ;-). Whats your wife think?

Take care and keep up the great picking

  • Thanks, yep, it's difficult to play slide without some of Bob's stuff showing.

As long as the guitars are the only things I'm fiddlin' with, the wife doesn't mind ;-)

A "Brauchli" is not that expensive, check out his website.

  • I just sold my national delphi because I want the model D style wood sound. I also like the sound of the spider. That cedar top sounds very clear and bright.

  • Red River Valley never sounded so beautiful;

    even on my Gibson.

    Thanks for posting.

  • Prachtig instrument!!!!!

  • ya mato la guitarra

  • awesome guitar

  • Thanks beod, I always mention the tuning I play in the text above.

  • Just wondering what tuning you are playing in?

    Wicked sound

    cheers

  • beautiful, as always. quick question: I recently started playing slide on round necks and am looking to invest in a squareneck/lap style. Do you recommend weissenborns over squarenecks? I played some Beard resonators that I like but also some nice weisses, I was wondering if you had any advice...

  • Thanks for the compliments. I'd go for a Weiss, squareneck reso's are too bluegrassy for me.

  • Very nice playing! I got one exactly the same a few months back and I luv it! Thanks.

  • superbe daddy!!! bel instrument et un sons incroyable...

  • And as always most beautiful!!!

  • Awesome as always.
