@collegegirl22pk Zeenat aman was/is too good for amitabh bachan!!..Besides they were college friends from before..only true autobiographies would reveal the real truth..Amitabh used and hurt Parveen, and then rekha,whilst he was married to Jaya...Thank God Zeenat escaped!! And Zeenat had the whole world to choose from and she was far too successful and independent and that would be threatening to Amitabhs ego....Three cheers to Zeenat!

@sge4647 Thank you for your email.I noted your comments.Its true Zeenat was never lucky in love.But she was also attracted to good looking men..Imran khan,feroz khan(?),sanjay khan<the first husband,and then marrying mazar khan agains zeenats mothers wishes.They all abused and used her.Sanjay beat her up so badly and damaged her eye.Mazar abused and was violent to her and used up all her money.She still cared for him when he was ill .

@collegegirl22pk Mazar was bisexual and died of hepatitis.Your comment that zeenat was after parveen and rekha merely confirms that he was not loyal to his wife jaya.He could have divorced jaya and stayed with rekha, they didnt have to get married because of that superstition you mention!It was during the incident in ccolie when amitab was seriously ill, rekha never phoned or went to the hospital.Jaya stayed and fasted and prayed for days on end.Thats why amit stayed with Jaya and dumped rekha.

So glad I found this video...the song stuck in my head after I lost a cassette with this song on it about 18 years ago. Never knew who sang it, or even what they sang. Only by searching phonetically the first words, did I find out who it was. This kind of music from this -to me- faraway part of the world really enriched my life! Beautiful!

Thanks, I might just do that. In the meantime I've found three other songs from it: "Dehka ek khab tu silsilay huey" and "In Ankhon Ki Masti", also "O sathi re tere bina bhi kya jina". Obviously the cassette must have been from a 'best of' album or a personal compilation from the Pakistani guy that gave it to me.
