@snoopydonvito no se pueden subir canciones del magnífico álbum "mass in f minor" porque dicen que se transgreden ciertos derechos, vaya estupidez suprema!!!...es de esperar que en cinco años más cuando la obra cumpla 50 años! su difusión virtual sin fines de lucro pueda realizarse
@mmasny LOL well, if you want is Chinese but there ain't no mass in greek, not this no any other, it is LATIN (period) just check the cover of the album or any review of the album. BTW I do NOT consider this an Electric Prunes album at all, it was the first without the original band, only two members play there
@gliedo no. it is greek. It's true that there's little greek in roman catholic masses but this is one of the exceptions. Kyrie eleison means lord have mercy as said above. And its greekness is pretty obvious to anybody with basic linguistic knowledge. Just look it up on the web. In Latin it would be miserere nobis domine. And it is also used by catholics sometimes as far as I can can remember. I used to be a pretty zelous catholic some time ago, so you can believe me on that.
@gliedo I wanted to be very rude to you but I pass. Κύριε ελέησον is greek. There are masses in greek, these of the greek orthodox church. But it is very interesting for a greek orthodox like me to hear that this phrase is used in latin mass. Anyway... you like the song, the movie, so you are considered to be a friend. And check out on Mr Mister - Kyrie. Not bad. Greetings from Greece.
@1054grams Η πλάκα είναι πως το κλιπάκι είναι και μεταγλωττισμένο στα Ιταλικά! To Gliedo, Kyrie Eleison is a canonical phrase which was never translated into latin because they couldnt find a similar word for particular texts in mass. Mmasny elaborates on that pretty well :)
@gliedo its 100% greek , kyrie is a common word that means sir or mister and eleison is commonly used by beggars , means have mercy . what does kyrie meas in italian language>? and eleison?
WTF?

Kyrie refers to Christ..Eleison is "with us"
ThePharmakia 6 months ago
the Kyrie was also part of the old Catholic mass (before Vatican 2) and was the only Greek part of the otherwise Latin service.

Kyrie Eleison means 'Lord have mercy' in greek and is constantly chanted during the churchal ceremonies. Thought you might find that interesting!
