  • Live is illegal here in Australia for a reason... it harms snakes (biting cases) and it is cruel to mice. Humanely euthanise them (CO2 chamber) then freeze and feed.

    And no, LIVE FOOD DOESN'T MAKE THE SNAKE LESS LAZY. SNAKES AREN'T LAZY. KEEP A WOMA IN A 4FT TUB, AND YOU'RE GOOD.

  • @DawgMagnet Screw that shit. If I want to feed my snake live cuz I feel it's best, I will.

  • And you can't even spell. Go to sleep little kid, it's way past your bedtime.

  • Ha ha. Trashy cunt? What are you? 12 years old?

  • lazy snake! that's the last thing i'd want from my snake!

  • @iloveeerik she needs a lot of heat (from lamp to simulate harsh Australian sun)

    Womas are very active for a python, but are mostly nocturnal!

  • @GuardianSoulkeeper it's good to know that there are people who are not vegeterians are still aware of the cruelness of the slaughtering of animals

  • I am about buying a cornsnake. I will feed both dead and alive but I've read that if your snake fails on successfully killing the feed mouse you are supposed to kill the mouse.... I'm not really against living feeding but kill it myself?

  • poor mouse :(

  • Slow and steady wins the race?

  • my royal python likes to try to eat backwards for some reason lol, she always likes a nibble of the ass before eating :p

  • Live feeding could REALLY damage your snake.

    And to get a beautiful snake like a Woma hurt? That's just cruel.

  • @DawgMagnet ok uh huh it could only damage if you let it also pre- killed could damage more

  • @snakemast66 No, pre-killed couldn't damage more.

  • @DawgMagnet ya really think so? well it can easily kill your snake if you dont thaw long enough and you can never tell for sure if its a complete thaw for even inside the mouse non thaw will kill while injuries can heal

  • Awesome video! Love how she puts her nose up to the mouse expecting to just eat...

  • feed ur rats to them so how it feels

  • Ohhh god god ohhh ewww :( ewwww awewwwww noooooooooo

  • they never strike in the wild either

  • woma pythons don't constrict their prey though they crush them against the walls of their burrows

  • At least your woma knows where to look. My clueless blind ball python doesn't even know when there's a live mouse in her cage.

  • lol, it scared the fk out of me when the snake finally did it

  • awesome

  • emmm good nice flea,disease,ugly rodent for a snack

  • kitty it did catch on its own just like if it came across one in the wild.

  • Um, no.

  • kittycupcake frozen mice do not simulate a live one which a snake would normaly eat

    and it is better for the snake to try to catch its food so it wont become lazy and watching a snake eat a live mouse is just more fun to watch!

  • You're a sick idiot.

  • @chickenzrck but, theres also the dangers of the live animal biting the snake.

  • @chickenzrck @chickenzrck Womas don't even eat mice in the wild! - they usually eat spiny lizards etc.

    that's why they don't have heat pits on their side labials 'cause they don't need it.

    they usually don't coil around it's prey either and are not even good ambush predators.

    they push their prey against the internal walls of the burrows they live, to kill them.

    not very efficient, as out of pythons caught/seen in the wild, Womas are seen with scars from bites.

  • @chickenzrck Womas are very active for a python, but are nocturnal!!

    they also need a basking area (with dry heat, not humidity) to simulate harsh Australian sun.

  • Poor thing, i don't understand how you don't feel any guilt, why can't you just feed it frozen mice?

  • @KiittyCupcake The better question is why would you feel guilt? This is the exact same thing that happens in the wild.

  • No, in the wild the snake catches mice on it's own.

  • I've noticed that every mouse goes close to the snake same thing happened with your burmes python video how come that they are getting so close?

  • 2:52 her insticts took over :D

  • 7:00 she was having trouble at his dick lmfao.

  • @brunettebabii08 Ever seen a cow get slaughtered?

    Think about it when you're next munching a steak. Won't feel so high and mighty then, will you? Prick.

  • @GuardianSoulkeeper ive saw cows get sluaghtered if anything it makes me feel better knowing they were killed nice and humainly, so i feel high and mighty

  • @TheMarc220194 Being turned upside down, having your throat sliced open before getting dumped on a floor literally flooded with the blood of your fellow cows while you bleed to death is humane?

    Interesting.

  • @GuardianSoulkeeper lol your now that you say it, it is quite funny.

  • @GuardianSoulkeeper damn vegie

  • @GuardianSoulkeeper all your talk of cows getting slaughtered makes me hungry for a nice medium rare rib eye

  • @GuardianSoulkeeper damn vegie im having a steak right now and feeling high and mighty your arguement is invalid :p

  • @JustinBiebarSucks What argument? I'm not vegetarian, I love beef, I love blue steaks. Looks like you misconstrued my previous post.

    That's the problem with the youtube comment system, almost impossible to have intelligent discussion.

  • @GuardianSoulkeeper oh sorry then :]

  • @GuardianSoulkeeper Yeah, I have. Each time I do I feel like a nice juicy sirloin, done blue, so it's dripping with blood as I eat it.

  • @GuardianSoulkeeper Yup, that's how I like my steaks, too.

  • @GuardianSoulkeeper Go and shove PETA up ur ass.

  • @cc519 Why? You think I have a problem with the way cows are slaughtered? Maybe you should try reading some of my other comments instead of assuming I'm some vegetarian pussy, eh?

  • @brunettebabii08 gtfo u ugly bitch that snake is beautiful and i bet u ur one of those ladies who never got asked out and rely on ur pets now to keep u sane

  • u should flick the mouse in the head that will work

  • evil!

  • Your snake is buetiful accept its face. its face looking liek vasoline accept little. So your snakes face looks ugly. But the pattern is buietful.

  • You guys filmed this vid on my birthday this year!!! thats awsome! April 23,2009!

  • Nice snake how big do they get because my dad is considering getting one but doesnt want a huge python that trys to get out its cage because my little sister is 3 and my dad doesnt want her to be smushed!

  • I meant prey, not pray

  • YOU ARE WRONG WRONG WRONG!

    Your snake DOES NOT KNOW how to bite and WHERE to bite BECAUSE you never feed him live. I ALWAYS FEED MINE LIVE and he ALWAYS strikes like a pro, ALWAYS GOES FOR THE HEAD OF THE PRAY! He never got bitten once because mice NEVER had a chance to bite. Feed him live and HE WILL LEARN how to bite his pray properly.

  • I'd like to say it is best to feed f/t to tell you the truth and feed live as a last resort meal for the snake only if thats the only way. That is how we all do it with my snakes. Ball pythons tend to be the pickiest eaters ive worked with. But it is true if you feed it live he will become more experienced with striking better and better every time, but their is always a chance for the snake to get hurt.

  • love ur lttle woma python, good luk.

  • love them, so beautyfullllllllllllll

  • lmao!!! 2:08 was like i gat ya and at 2:11 the mouse was like ah no you dont

  • i got a brazilian rainbow boa like 30 minutes ago and it bit my dad

  • LOL!

  • You should feed it in a diff container mate, it can swallow the substrate along with the mouse and cause some probs.

  • Glad to see you feed live as a last resort. So much risk to your snake!

  • Comment removed

  • this is one of my favorite things in the world to watch

  • my baby colombian ret tail can pop the eyes out of the mouse before it can bite her

  • Cool, Try it with a Baby!....no, you better not.

  • dont you feel guilty putting a live animal to death ?

  • its only natural, while yes it is a shame, the same could be said about humans and aall the animals we eat.

  • They are not pets. They are feeders.

  • Then I hope you're a vegetarian. Don't you feel guilty every time you eat steak or chicken wings?

  • is 78 days without eating much for you?

  • Depends on the species and age.

  • 5 stars very great im starting breeding mice and im going to breed balls and sand boas. i want womas and im going to sell the offspring that i dont need

  • Borring

  • your snake is too cool man i wish i had it

    -.-

  • nice mana snake

  • sick video and nice woma

  • Great video...thanks for posting.

    5 stars.

  • not such a good choice for bedding... you dont want that stuff in your snakes tummy do you? i recomend newspaper thats wut i use

  • Thats what I use for my Ball Pythons. But I have not heard of anyone using newspaper for Womas.

  • If you use newspaper the snake can't dig its way underneath, what he is using is fine, i use the same stuff for my Californian Kingsnake, and he LOVES digging his way through it..

  • @mk2gti89 whilst newspaper is a great substrate. Womas like to burrow. Hence a softer substrate is needed. Better to feed on paper and return to her cage so she can burrow into the bedding

  • @mk2gti89 you do know aspen bedding is best for snakes and newspaper is fine but can be aproblem if it gets wet, meaning some of he ink might start to spred and even be absorbed into your snake

  • @mk2gti89 wild snake would eat that stuff off the ground anyways

  • never saw a snake with eyes in the front of its head as opposed to the side... what kind is it?

  • Woma Python (as it says in the title :oP )

  • That is a beautifal snake and first time feeding live it did pretty good lol

  • did u put that stick on its head so it didnt bite it?

  • Yes.

  • 78 days without eating, holy crap. and the other snake hesitated when you put the mouse in XD mine is usually snapping at the heat lamp before i can even get the mouse in

  • how much did you pay for the woma python????

  • love all your vids keep up the good work!!!

  • What are you 10 years old? Going from video to video leaving comments on what you don't like. Go bitch elsewhere, bitch.

  • dude i love snakes they are good pets if u treat them well... unfortunaly my mom is afraid of them and i cant buy one :(

  • YEA SAME!

  • fuck you snakes are the most beautiful, dosile, awesome creatures on the planet and why would you go from video to video leaving comments dissing the users passion people like you should find something better to do.......bitch

  • omg retard xD

  • seriosly why don't your parents just kill you? Everyone hates a winey bitch! I want him to feed you to his burmese python.

  • i always afraid my corn snake escape cuz my baby egg snake escaped an i cant find it back :' [

    is there any ways for keep it better like cant escape that easily?

    thz<3

  • There are clips that lock the lid into place. Or you can put heavy objects on both edges of the lid. I'm assuming you were referring to a tank. If you were referring to a snake rack then let me know.

  • y do u wana kno if its biting or not?

  • Because mice have razor sharp teeth, which can puncture the skin of a snake. And if the mouse does, it can cause the cut to scab over, and get infected, eventually causing scale rot, which can costs hundreds of dollars to get proper care for the wound.

  • i really don't know whether to feed live or prekilled. i mean what's the worst that could happen if the mouse does bite him. i relly need some advice so please Help.

  • question, i realize you had an extra mouse, but you couldn't have kept it another week or fed it to another snake that already takes live, perhaps the one that just ate a live mouse. From my experience it is best to have a snake on frozen, for many benefits that im sure you are aware of. Not dissin you or anything just wonderin.

    Enjoy your vids keep it up!

  • The one that ate the live one is only on fuzzies. This was a weanling. All of my snakes are on f/t with exception of my Mojave Ball Python who I have yet to get to eat.

  • fuckin awsome!!!

    where can i get a rosy boa?

  • LLLReptile(dot)com and eBoas(dot)net are the two sites I would recommend for a Rosy Boa. However eBoas does not have any available at the moment.

  • In your opinion what type of snake would be good to handle? Like to keep around kids, and a not very aggressive one?

  • Kenyan Sand Boa, Rosy Boa, Ball Python and Corn Snake.

  • How big can a Rosy Boa get?

  • 3-4 feet.

  • careful the substrate doesnt get stuck in her mouth homie, sick snakes

  • Why? For feeding my snake? You try going without food.

  • are they nice

  • Yup!

  • A cuppa mouse anyone huh??? Lols

    Crapped yourself again man Ha..

    Still rockin!!!!!

    ~~~~~~~~~~:)
  • how big do woma's eat
  • How big do they eat or get?
    They can get up to 9 feet eating rabbits. But most are 6-8 feet at top growth.
  • I agree, mice do stink! Ugh!
    sometimes I wonder if my ball will eat it or not, its so stinky.
  • what type of snake is pyretta? and its an awsome snake that dark shade round her eyes makes her look unique!
  • She is a Woma Python (as it says in the title :oP )
    Thanks!
  • porr mouse
  • Nice man.
  • I thought if a snake eats some of the wood shavings it can cause problems? I was told to feed my snake in an empty container so it doesnt swallow any wood shavings?
  • I'm using Sani Chips which is so small that unless the snake swallowed A LOT it will be destroyed in the stomach. I should have went into more detail on that.
  • Thanks for the reply!
  • beautiful snake :)
    your video of when you first got your woma made me decide that's the next snake i want to get - it's great to see how big it's looking and that it's eating :)
  • Womas are great! Crazy to think she used to fit in the center of my hand. By far 1 of the greatest eaters in my collection.
  • that was awesome, thanx buddy 4 the upload
  • what substrate was that better then aspen for my ball python? and a c boa
  • i know nothing about snakes, but i think that was one perfect strike
  • Yeah, she didn't get the head so she wasn't able to subdue it from biting.
  • that was freaking awesome
  • This video is really good! I love youtube and how it always inspires me to keep watching more! haha it's true (= entertaining stuff when i'm AT WORK!
  • Thanks :o)
    Wish I could use the internet at work :oP
  • does the mouse have any idea what was going to happen to it?
  • Doubtful. The mouse was only 2 days old.
  • Why kill something so young!!!?
  • Because if I waited for it to be a large adult it would be too big. And It was more than 2 days old, I was thinking of the fuzzy I fed to my other snake. This mouse was actually probably 2-3 weeks old.
  • This may sound stupid but is the snake venomous?
  • No. All the species I keep are non venomous.
  • Great wrap! for her first live prey. cool vid 5*
  • 2:51 The wind up.
  • aww shes really pretty
  • yeah my snake Samada looks just like her
  • man i think its pretty cool to watch ur snakes eat
  • Tag Team match xD
  • So BS when people complain that its wrong to feed live mice and when people say its not coz its nature. If they truly belived its nature then they would let the mouse bite coz THATS nature. That beaing said, beautiful snake.
  • well when ppl complain they dont relize that there is more suffering put in a can of dog food than a whole months worth rat eating,., why dont you let that horse bite your dog
  • Accually, in nature the snake would have usually heal from its bite injuries and moved on. So what your telling ppl to do is let the already dying mouse bite your snake and cause it unneeded pain that could get infected??? Seriously I value my snake more than that, i'd live feed 1000000 mice before letting one bite my snake for no reason.
  • nice woma how much did he cost
  • no 420 video this year?
  • Just running late. Had to bail on my original idea.
  • Why don't your snakes eat?
  • Most of them do. Just got 2 fussy ones.
  • what a beautiful snake, Its good that you didnt let that smelly bastard bite her.
  • Dude awsome vids lol i want one of these snakes.
  • LOL!!
    "There it is!....scared the crap out of me, even..."
    Excellent video, Farther. Can't want to see more.
  • thats in high defintion
  • how do you heat them things. the same thing happened to me how my snake wouldnt eat frozen mice. i tried warming them up, dipping them in chicken broath, and i tried feeding it pinkies. then i finally tried live and it attacked it within 15 seconds of it being in there.
  • If only I would have known 10 weeks ago :oP
  • Love the Woma... she looks extremely healthy and relaxed. A little surprised that this is your first time she's struck... both of mine love to tee-off on food.
  • Yeah, she will just casually slither over to the mouse and open up. Never a strike. Thanks btw.
  • why do you have so much snakes lol but good vid
  • The more, the better :o)
  • do you pet your snakes and play with them? i just got a blood python, i had a ball python but i gave it to my cousin. my blood python is like 5 feet long and i wanna know if i can pick it up without it choking me to death lol
  • I don't pet them, but I take them out of their cages and hold them for a while. Blood Pythons are extremely strong snakes. Not to mention some of them can have quite the temper. Not for the beginner.
  • well damn i just bought it 2 months ago for 5 grand. i was just wondering if i could pick it up maybe i'll just stick to feeding it instead
  • The earlier you get it used to handling the better.
  • Nicee video! Anyways, did hr669 pass?
  • muff and mike were talkin about it on thier radio show, the havent finished goig over it so nothing has happened yet
  • According to USARK HR669 did not pass! In order for it to go to the house it will have to be redrafted and go through another hearing like the one earlier today.
