Well thanks both of you. You guys are right luck is a big part, driving is too, the robot's driver was amazing, his first year driving and he gets the award for best driver in the nation. Odds are he'll be back next year at the helm of "Quadbott."

I'd have to agree with ai4fu. Both of these bots were extremely good. In the first round of this fight copperhead 3 gave the biggest hit I'd ever seen in this weight class and oddbot 3.5 survived a hit that would've destroyed the vast majority of other bots.

This match was definately a let down, I'm a junior at Bay Path Regional Voc. Tech. High... owners of Oddbott 3.5. For those you you that don't know, BBIQ is double elimination. Copperhead was undefeated and due to a toggle switch malfunction in another match, Oddbott wasn't, thus we needed to beat copperhead twice to win, we beat them once, but the bolt holes on our front plate stripped on a hit so the plate came off easily in the next fight, contributing to a 2nd place finish for Oddbott 3.5
