its about th end of humanity i think the idea that now we as humans are no longer bound by the truth of religion, or the truth of our common bonds, we are now just wandering nomads, living for nothing,dying for nothing. but this is obviously not the right way to live becase deep down we all know the truth, that we are more than this nothingness, but at the same time, because no 1 is brave enuf to stand up for truth and the rest of humanity, then yes,
i remember watching you on Oz and thinking, "there's no way the writers could write that poetry. did he write his own shit?" after seeing this video i realize you did. brilliant, man. just fucking brilliant.
muMs is a great wordsmith who puts words together to form, in its simplest form, art. and just like most abstract artists out shit together to form a complete piece of shit, ur not going to derive one simple answer to this work of abstract prose. theres a lot to the poem but most importantly, the poem isnt nothing. each pentameter is another theory. the scary thing about this is, everything he said made sense. i could go on about this shit and thats the beauty of it.
"... a generation generating a severe hating of the God side of self, based on the fear of uncertainty, faced with the blatant nature calculated confusion of the masses, using rose colored glasses to excuse the giving of nothing..." I don't have the fine tuned ear of a word-smith or poet, therefore most of the piece was a litte beyond me, but even though I don't understand it, I most definitely feel it.
This piece seems umm nihilistic, maybe rejecting the divine or existence? And the references "following brick roads to nothing" &"free-styled off the top of nothing" In some new fiction, some cats are searching to fill the void by taking the path to self-destruction. "die from living for nothing."I would imagine that'd be the end. A little sad. A poverty of the soul. "but something seems to center itself on the signs of something in the center of nothing."
