Explanation. His program became corrupted after he merged with the other 3 Sonic models(Silver Sonic, Silver Sonic MK 2 & Mecha Madness) Eggman made so he could defeat Sonic. When Eggman confronted him and threaten deactivation, Mecha 'killed' him and sent the Death Egg on a collision course with Mobius, the resulting destruction further corrupted his program.

I personally think that they sounded alike in the first place, so it fits.

All in all Arclad (and his team) have produced a fairly good dub for one of the best sprite series made so far... And we haven't even encountered the awesomeness of episode 8 in this dub... yet.

I can't wait for there to be a complete dub season of this show. Apparently there are going to be three seasons of this (unless Alvin-earthworm gives up on it) With a movie in between each season.

Not sure how the next season can top the first one given it's already high awesome quotient... but then I didn't expect episode 6 or episode 7 to be surpassed and I was proven wrong.
