I've heard many people say, how do I get my layers dock back. Well, go to Windows at the top of GIMP and scroll over Recently closed windows, then click Layers Dock. Obviousy it won't be called Layers Dock, it's called something else.

This may sound totaly wacked but I do not have that screen on the right. I have been trying to cut part of a shot from one picture and lay it into another and I can not seem to get beyond the 'marching ants' part. Help?!!

Ooo, I just thought of this one...

You should record a tutorial for using GIMP to make our own Greeting Cards with specialized letters and borders! That could be a whole set of tutorials... one for each holiday, one for birthdays, one for vacations, etc...
