I knew Gaye, he was the one who taught my brother the guitar, he was a great man with serious diabetes, my brother, father, mother, and me are all sad.
While I'm typing this, Im looking at a picture of Gaye teaching my brother the guitar.
If you would like to see my brother play the guitar, go to his channel: NoahsMusicVevo. I think there is a song that he taught him there.
Gaye Delorme died here in Calgary last night (6.24.11) of heart failure. He was a talented giant of the guitar that this little ditty of his (yes he wrote it as well as having a hand in "Basketball Jones" w Tommy Chong) doesn't come close to showing. He was loved and admired by many and will be sadly missed.Rest in peace dear friend.
RIP Uncle Gaye, I wish I'd gotten the chance to know you better, but I'm blessed to have known you at all. <3

Reminds me a little of Victor Borge! Everyone pretty much knows what to fill in the classical inserts with. ;)
